Old thread full.
I'd forgotten about Buddy, bless him.
We must be getting rid of Eliza soon?
Baby Archie has grown a couple of months in a few episodes!

As soon as Mac agreed to the baby shower I thought uh oh.
I went through this and from the trailer clip (“how did I not know”) resonated with what I felt.

Ate they setting up Lacey and Mali to be together?

Yep definitely seems like they are setting up Lacey and Mali. Mali was a shit to Abi so Lacey doesn't deserve to be lumped with Mali.

Also the new cop was looking at gun cabinets when David asked what he was doing. He mentioned again about getting a gun. It's almost like an episode of Casualty when the plot is writ large 😂

Whatthetrolley · 29/06/2026 23:27

Is Alf about to become a vigilante

Rummikub · 30/06/2026 18:36

I know it was a sad scene but I really want that box that Levi and Mack used for their memory box.

Roid range beckons for Sonny. Where does he get his income from by the way?

That's what I've always wondered

So I'm thinking Dr Carlyle saves David and then they get together. She's suddenly come out of nowhere. But so far she seems nice.

My thoughts exactly. Would they really do another doctor patient story?

And why allow a trigger happy rookie a gun?

Lacey’s gone back to being feisty!

EBearhug · 03/07/2026 23:18

She will soon learn you don't have to ask if someone knows the patient. The answer is always yes.

Savings apparently. It was mentioned this week in the Australian pace episodes. That surprises me because when his character initially came to the show he was constantly scabbing money off Remi and had his credit card too.

If anyone is trying to work out why the new doctor looks familiar she was in Doctor Doctor. She’s the one who would always be having a bath on the back verandah. The show was probably called something else in the UK. The womanising drug addict doctor working rurally as punishment in his family’s hometown.

She was also in Wentworth

How long had Abby known Richie? Three weeks?

I know, it's ridiculous isn't it saying she thought he was 'the one' when she's known him 5 minutes!

Crinkle77 · 14/07/2026 19:28

More questionable ethics from the new doctor. Do doctors really give out their mobile numbers to patients even if it's a work number? And I sense a budding romance. It's like they don't have any professional standards in Aus!

FeralWoman · 15/07/2026 15:55

No they don’t give out their phone numbers. It would be more like ring the hospital’s general phone number and leave a message for her, and hope that it gets to her.

PrincessScarlett · 18/07/2026 08:36

I'm finding Eden's refusal to have a baby quite interesting. Obviously it is entirely her right to choose not to have children BUT you'd think that would be a discussion her and Cash would have BEFORE getting married. And asking Cash to get a vasectomy was pretty cruel when he desperately wants a child of his own.

Lots of mentions of Amelia by David, Lacey and Jo so definitely looks like we're heading for a love interest for David. Also, is it just me but David looks so much more younger and attractive in casuals!

It's all going to end in tears for Harper isn't it. She really is terrible at picking men.

EBearhug · 18/07/2026 08:40

I don't think Eden would have refused to have a baby before seeing Mac and her brother have to go through a miscarriage.

FeralWoman · 18/07/2026 20:54

Cash and Eden have discussed children previously. She’s never really wanted them. He always has. She made a decision to have children as part of loving Cash and getting married to him because she knew how important it was to him.

What gets me is why Eden thinks that Levi and Mac won’t be trying again for a baby and won’t potentially go through the pain of miscarriage again. They want children. They’ll try again most likely.

I really want to know how the fuck Eden got into a public system gynaecologist so quickly and seemingly without going to a GP for a referral.

sc0ttishlass · 27/07/2026 08:12

Hello just caught up on all episodes post holiday and started thinking I think the writing/storylines are really poor just now? Why is Harper so unlucky in love? Why have Mac and Levi gone through this? Im not sure there are many stories or characters that im actually enjoying at the moment? Anyone finding similar?

PrincessScarlett · 27/07/2026 19:50

You'd think Harper might be a bit more clued up on manipulative and abusive people being a social worker. First her mum and now Beau.

Agree @sc0ttishlass none of the characters have happy stories at the moment or recently.

FeralWoman · 27/07/2026 20:08

Damn it. No Home and Away for another week thanks to the Commonwealth Games. The tv channel showing the games is the H&A channel, and due to the time difference the games are on at night. They’ve left us with a cliffhanger situation.

EBearhug · 04/08/2026 17:57

I know Beau and the tracking app are all about him being a controlling creepy abusive drug dealer, but that aside - don't social workers have any restrictions on things like that? It would be a breach of client confidentiality if a partner could see the addresses they visit, wouldn't it? Though if it was the workplace tracking them, I can understand the safety aspect.

I hope the sooner Beau is found out the better. I haven't liked him from the outset.

Sagealicious · 05/08/2026 15:04

Beau is 100% the type to be a family annihilator. He gives me the creeps.

thecatdidit · 05/08/2026 17:32

I can't understand Harper being so easily fooled, the red flags are all waving. Surely she's come across controlling behaviour in her work. Speaking of work, she's never there and Beau similarly.

Well, quite - what sort of social work does she do? Though Beau is there for dealing drugs - does he actually claim to have a conventional job? Oh, personal trainer, is it?
