Only just catching up with this season but enjoying it a surprising amount so far. And enjoying this thread too!
Won‘t get into all the ins and outs now, so to speak, but my observation from tonight was that Dejon knows that there’s often a public vote after a recoupling so he was laying it on thick about how into Meg he was, how well she’d handled it etc and was the only girl for him. Despite him clearly not being a one woman guy and loving the attention of other women. Don’t get me wrong, Meg was way too jealous and OTT about how he should shut others down despite being open, but still - you can see how contradictory he’s being with her and I’m sure it’s the PT in him, competitive, wanting to win this so steering his journey. And fair play to him, he’s gorgeous, smart and got a nice vibe so he may be in with a good chance. But when he looks into the distance, I swear he’s thinking of winning, not Meg or even threesomes.
My other main takeaway tonight was that it’s tough on Malisha how impossible it’s been to bombshell anyone. She’s barely been in and not had many options. Despite most couples not actually being solid. Remell and Amira aren’t that well suited, she’s lovely but he went for her so fast for safety and she’s having to overlook a lot. I also got bad vibes from his fun fact about not liking girls to have male friends. Shakira could do a lot better than Ben. Harry isn’t serious about anyone. Shae is a non entity. There’s only Tommy and Megan who are a genuine prospect, maybe Connor and Emily too, and yet everyone knows the pitfalls of the show so well they’re not gonna give an inch to the likes of Malisha and risk being dumped. I wish Malisha and Toni could both stay in and get three decent guys to choose from, not this boy Harrison who is no doubt very nice but no catch for either of them and certainly not worthy of a pick me dance.
Gone on longer than intended but as I say, enjoying it a lot! And a bit disappointed there wasn’t a vote. I think if Shakira realised people didn’t love her in a couple with Ben, she’d be up for searching out a better prospect and deserves to do so!
