Is there a celebrity traitors thread yet?

Cast announced as, Stephen Fry, Mark Bonner, Celia Imrie, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Charlotte Church, Jonathon Ross, Kate Garraway, Joe Marler, Tameka Empson, David Olusoga, Claire Balding, Tom Daley, Cat Burns & Niki Omilana.

I’m looking forward to this. I have a feeling that it will be harder for the celebs - some of whom must know each other - to trick people, but will definitely be watching. I’m glad it’s a good cast with several comedians.

Now wondering who would be good traitors. Mark Bonner in a cloak would put a smile on my face, but I’m worried that Alan Carr could be a Linda.

On Uncloaked, Paloma seemed to be still upset that she’d been murdered by her friend Alan. I was expecting her to do a showbizzy “it’s just a gameshow, we’re still besties” type statement but instead she emphasised that it wasn’t nice of him and claimed that, if the roles were reversed, she wouldn’t have done it to him. I hope the two of them can kiss and make up!

Back to the Shakespeare question, despite the ambiguities of what could be correct, would whatever the answer have been relate to the number of contestants who would need to die across the series perhaps? I didn’t watch uncloaked. Was this brought up on it?

HourlyTime · 10/10/2025 07:07

I don't think Paloma was signed up just for a couple of days, she seemed genuinely upset she was the first killed - and by Alan!

I think the only reason he murdered her is because he panicked that he had to touch someone's face subtly, and knew it had to be somewhat natural or he'd get caught.

I'm really miffed still!

And why have a cliffhanger at that point?!

EchoedSilence · 10/10/2025 07:14

It's just a game. Someone had to go first. It was obvious Alan was going to choose someone close to him. He's a traitor, there's no room for mates if you are going to play the game well. Or it would be a shit game.

I get that they were told to just bring a black outfit, not that it was for a funeral, but on discovering it was, Tom could have buttoned up a few more buttons to go from ‘gigolo’ to ‘mourning’, surely?

He keeps reminding me facially of Rupert Graves when younger.

Claudia looked deeply uncomfortable on that horse.

I think someone said somewhere (Richard O on TRIE?) that they’d all had to commit to the full filming period, and that they all got paid a flat fee of £40k?

Conniebygaslight · 10/10/2025 07:47

loved this look from Tom to Kate….

so annoyed that we have to wait a week, how are they going to kill off/banish enough people when there are only 9 episodes?

They never show a banishment and a murder in the same episode I don’t think….its usually one or the other.

Sometimes there are multiple murders, aren’t there? And don’t the non-celebrity versions usually start with more contestants?

Ahhh she is there

You may not realise that there are posters here who may have connections in the production team, which makes your totally innaccurate posts look a bit silly...

I never quite know when the bits where the contestants are talking frankly to the camera are filmed - shortly after the scenes they're talking about, or after they've been eliminated, or after the entire thing is over and they're reminiscing?

And the uncloaked show, some of it is clearly right afterwards, but by the studio time, they must surely know the outcome of the whole programme but be sworn to secrecy somehow? I can't believe the final winner would be kept secret from the ones who are eliminated.

A bit like bake-off Extra Slice. I'm pretty sure that's filmed now, concurrently with the episodes being shown, as the contestants that come back each week have changed with the time passing - and yet they ask them things like 'who do you fear most' or 'who will go to the final', when it must be perfectly obvious that the contestant knows who has won already.

Ii guess all of these things have non-disclosure agreements, but the level of acting required to keep lying and pretend you don't know things must be hard - even the Traitors can't do it very well!

@WonderfulSmith wrote
Uncloaked in the studio is filmed when broadcast because they talk about the public reaction to past episodes.

So that would mean that, before filming starts, the celebrities have to be available for all the broadcast days. Once they are killed they’ll know when they’ll be needed again.

That is why they are doing the reveal in the castle with Ed there, straight after the 'murder' - in case schedules prevent any of the celebs being available for Uncloaked (as the filming is on the day of broadcast, so not predictable). With only 9 episodes, and so 9 Uncloaked, not all celebs need to be on Uncloaked as there will be some double exits.

Paloma explained why she was sorry to be leaving so early but didn't even mention that she wouldn't have an opportunity to raise a huge amount of money for her chosen charity. (She and her Agent must've forgotten that bit)

Never watched it before but enjoying it. I know I am in a minority but I was hoping Paloma would be the first death. I can't stand her and her fashion sense is enough for her to be killed.

You are not alone. She annoys me so much.

I was exactly the same, but have to say I found her lovely on Uncloaked.

Mine too! Why is he so popular with the teens?!

My 18yr old son came through when it was the round table bit, and straight away said "oh it's Nico,he ran for London mayor"

That had passed me by! I asked DS what he did on YouTube as I’m so perplexed by his popularity amongst teens. He said ‘pranks and stuff’. So I’m still none the wiser why thousands of teens think he’s great!

Pl242 · 10/10/2025 10:55

Note to self: must avoid use of word flabbergasted in order not to be viewed weirdly by those younger than me.

the80sweregreat · 10/10/2025 10:58

Tom clearly doesn’t like Kate. She is larger than life at times , yet he doesn’t have a problem with the likes of Alan or JR being like it.
Jonathon was sneaky wearing his shades. Easier to hide behind the sunglasses and not let people see your eyes !

Delatron · 10/10/2025 11:11

Tom did really take an instant dislike to Kate. She’s like that in real life so she’s not behaving suspiciously but they can’t see that I guess.

MrsMitford3 · 10/10/2025 11:18

Alan makes me laugh so much but suspect he will be a terrible traitor-maybe he can hide in plain sight?
Hope the others don't turn on him and kill him 💀

EtonMessy · 10/10/2025 11:21

Another here for the Mark Bonnar love especially in a kilt !!
Also think Nick Mohammed is great , for any other Nick fans I recommend the film Deep Cover !!
