I couldn't see another thread but it looks like this starts on Thursday 10th April.

What will be the themes this year? Banquettets aplenty? Grumpy contestants coming on to the thread to tell us off for not being kind? Hideous colour combinations?

Who know what joys await us!

Ah I can’t wait! I rewatch old series over and over. And Max McMurdo is judging week 2 and I love him!

Oh thanks for this, I didn’t realise it was coming back. Set it up to record as I’m out a lot on Thursdays but I’ll be looking forward to joining in here when I get the chance to watch each week.

While Lotus closes and a questionably painted MDF door opens. Hurrah. Who will be this year's wackiest contestant? What primary coloured signature outfits/facial hair will we get to endure each week? Who will be crying on the sofa first? It's all to play for...

Hurrah I thought I was the only one excited to watch this. I will be rewatching old episodes tonight to get ready.

Lawrence LB is the first judge so we can look forward to lots of heavily prepared spontaneous comments

I’m excited too. I’m a fan of Banjo Beale so maybe they will actually find another good interior designer this series! But obvs more likely not 🤣. Wonder what has happened to other previous winners?

it kicks off tonight at 8pm with renovation of a youth hostel. Here’s hoping for us all to be told off on here by a contestant who decided to dress like a Poundland Salvador Dali and go on national television with his outlandish designs 😂

Michelle’s Brighton house is very pretty old building made hideous inside by her bizarre & expensive-to-change design choices such as making a vast headboard out of the kind of tiles found in a municipal railway toilet. Cosy! I can’t believe she has the temerity to be so scathing about other people’s designs.

Really looking forward to this. I love looking at the contestants own homes.

Think we have the usual mix of maximalist, wannabes and a couple of ringers who are already established and were probably approached following SM content… looks like it’ll be a fun series!
