What will be the themes this year? Banquettets aplenty? Grumpy contestants coming on to the thread to tell us off for not being kind? Hideous colour combinations?

The prize is to produce products for John Lewis so a bit of a step up from La Redoute last year

Everyone seems relatively main street, looking forward to seeing the ‘signature styles’

What a gorgeous property and setting. I’ve spent so many nights in hostels all I want is a non squeaky bed and a clean shower. I’m usually disappointed

To be fair I could not tell you what Michelle's signature style was based on her house so I think this is a tough challenge

I think the bedroom makeover task is the most useful challenge sometimes.
