Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Poor Phil , he would usually be centre to a Mitchell wedding , but he can't get involved properly :(
It is sad.

storminabuttercup · 17/02/2025 20:40

The Phil storyline is being done brilliantly, he's been an awful character over the years but i feel so sorry for him, a sign of a great actor

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 20:41

Phil is phenomenal.
I'll really miss him when he does leave, hopefully it won't be too soon !

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 20:43

Made no sense there
I mean I hope he isn't going anytime soon ..
you know what I mean

Shellingbynight · 17/02/2025 21:04

I loved the documentary, it was really well done.

Michelle Collins has confirmed it is one of the suspects we know about. But it's possible that whoever is holding the locket is not the person who shovelled her. She has told everyone on the Square about that blasted locket so it could be anyone holding it.

Southeastdweller · 17/02/2025 21:21

The BBC announcer said tonight there’s a “shock return that changes everything”. Maybe the returner is a different person to who tried to kill Cindy?

Probably just Reiss 🤣

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 17/02/2025 21:24

Thank goodness I found this thread, just encouraged a spoiler alert on the other one 😅

It'll just be bloody reiss returning i think

Shellingbynight · 17/02/2025 21:33

Yeh the returner will be Reiss, he has to drive into the propane gas stores and cause the explosion. I know it seems obvious to us but most people haven't see those photos.

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 21:42

I think that Michelle Collins has done well with a weak story and script. How did she break into Phil's house? Last week nobody could get in there !!
Can't wait to see who has the locket.
That gas is bound to be important.,

Agree with this, she's a great actor and the script and storylines are all over the place

burblish · 17/02/2025 21:46

Cindy must have broken into Phil's house the same way Bianca broke out of Reiss' lock up 😁

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 21:47

There is too much going on really
I hope that the Vic burning down might bring Phil to his senses a bit. So far Grant has been as helpful as chocolate teapot !

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 21:48

Yep, they can break in and out of places when it suits eh? 😆
Phil must have left the back open 🙄

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 21:55

Martin choosing Stacey or Ruby would have been more believable than Dee and co , but as others said, it was probably changed because of Lacey's pregnancy.
I now want to know who is holding that locket !
I hate waiting for tomorrow night :(

Viewer23 · 17/02/2025 21:58

I think it is Ian holding the locket but I don’t think he hit Cindy. I think Peter hit Cindy and Ian worked out it was Peter and went to look for the locket among the photo albums that Peter had been going through earlier. I think Cindy found him just as he found it and now thinks her theory is confirmed.

Poor Phil! The denial of everyone around him (except Nigel) is so sad. Even Grant is so determined not to see what is blindingly obvious at this point, Phil looks constantly close to tears!

Shellingbynight · 17/02/2025 22:00

Good thought re Ian @Viewer23 I can see Ian standing there smugly.

I agree there has been too much going on. And I feel sorry for Michelle Collins having to be so hysterical and paranoid, Cindy isn't really like that, she's cold and calculating.

Grant isn't exactly the empathetic type is he? I don't know why Nigel thought he'd be any use!

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 22:01

Ian did seem to have a light bulb moment.
Cindy taunting him about their love life in front of a wedding party was bad though!
It went almost drama free up to that point !lol
I liked the marquee affair

the80sweregreat · 17/02/2025 22:04

It seems that Grant was actually invited to the wedding and not really back for his bruv
Martin has clocked that Nic and Zac know each other . Although why they invited her I've no idea.

Shellingbynight · 17/02/2025 22:28

I thought Grant just made it look as if he was back for the wedding. He wasn't intending to go but it was a convenient excuse. Nigel asked him to come back for Phil (who he then ignored!)

Giantjoelguesser · 17/02/2025 22:42

Grant was more concerned about making Bianca think he was nice, than helping/noticing Phil. I'm glad she questioned him on his little speech and I'm glad she did it in a calm way and not in her usual shouty way. Not that he will take a bit of notice, he really is self absorbed and toxic

storminabuttercup · 18/02/2025 05:45

Two things I was thinking about over night

Firstly Grant with the whole 'told you he's alright' thing, said a few times is great as it shows how others don't often take MH seriously in men

Secondly I'm really cross with Tracy for serving Phil that pint, she will know he's an alcoholic even if she didn't want the hassle she could have got George to step in (unless George is in the Beale house with the pendant but i doubt it)

the80sweregreat · 18/02/2025 06:29

It a true that men's mental health isn't taken as seriously , so despite many campaigns to change attitudes it is still taboo. They see Phil as strong ' a warrior' , he'll get over it.
I'm glad that Bianca hasn't forgotten Tiffany or how Grant treated her
They usually forgive and forget too easily on EE sometimes!
Who has the locket was my pondering last night , but I bet it's not the one who actually hit her. .. .. .. Which I read on here and makes sense ( so they can drag it out a bit more )
Maybe the big fire will change things , the pub could do with a face lift anyway ! They shall rebuild.

MichaelAndEagle · 18/02/2025 06:48

I noticed the reference to the childminders, I suppose that's so we know the kids are safely away when whatever happens, happens.

the80sweregreat · 18/02/2025 06:52

Martin has realized that Zac knows Nic!
I hope he chooses Stacey over Ruby
( unless he is a casualty of the fire of course )
