Just watched episode 1. Pretty good and I'm intrigued.

Best debut of 2025 I'm calling it now

Did not see that coming! Really enjoyed the whole series although I think the final episode was a bit rushed compared to the others

Episode 7 was definitely the stand out. But I liked 8 as a season finale. I liked that it wasn't anyone obvious but was someone you had seen. I had looked up that character on IMDB in an earlier episode - then forgot all about them! I really liked the origin of the place and the people who created its story - hope that's vague enough trying hard not to do serious spoilers!

I read an interview with the showrunner and he's said filming for season 2 will start in a month and he's hoping for it to air around the same time next year.

Episode 7 was very good, because you could see a scenario where the people identified to survive had to shoot those that were not.

not sure about ep8 and X leaving on a commercial airliner seems farcical. What if there is nowhere to land it outside?

Agreed. Episode 7 was amazing but 8 was just okay.

Surely they built a hatch to get out /explore safely (maybe with a robot first) rather than opening a jet sized hole. Any buggy would be better than what he used.
And the world now has no power? But only cal and Sinatra know that. (Ie the other black box option)

Anyone watching series 2 that drops 3 episodes today? I can’t decide whether to restart my Disney + subscription for it.

I watched all three and loved it, last episode is 30th March so you might want to time it to fit it all in a months sub.

It’s quite different this season. Slow so far.

wasn’t Alex the science man’s wife who I assume was mercy killed by husband. That company went to the other student who then sold it to Sam? Or was it just shut down?

but they speak of Alex in the bunker -episode 1 people going to find and kill Alex? (Her?) and again here. Maybe Alex is a project code name?

I binged all three of the new episodes - great ending to the third one!

I can't recall any mention of Alex but I might have missed as I watched them so quickly. Will rewatch when they release more episodes.

I am loving the new series. I found the last episode very moving and even cried 😭
