Just finished watching the whole second series . I did initially find it not as gripping as the first series .
But then I did get hooked . The acting was good , especially from Xavier / X . Although he always comes across as very earnest just like in “This is Us “ - same writer / show runner .
Yes Dylan / Link and Sinatra’s son had the same date of birth .
Did get a bit confusing about Alex / time machine.
As a parent , it always annoys me when there is a sole parent who leaves their children on their own / with friends looking after them and runs off to rescue their spouse . Same happened in the Walking Dead when Michelle did it to find Rick and X did it here . Both situations , left their kids behind in really dangerous situations .
Ok I appreciate that X couldn’t drag his kids with him - but still

.
Interesting contrast with the Walking Dead and those who have watched that . In that , those who are left behind are all about survival and generally kill off most people who cross their paths .
Here with the odd exception , those on the outside seemed to be whilst not initially trusting of newcomers , not as keen to kill them . I do get they are different genres of programmes but would the outsiders also not have limited resources ?
Not sure if Jane is actually dead , expected her to rise up . How did she get onto the President’s security team when she has clearly psychopathic traits ? Did Sinatra bring her on , and what happened to her , after she seriously assaulted her colleague ?
I also thought it was a bit silly that the therapist told Jane she knew that ( Jane was a murderer . What did she then expect her to do - apart from try and murder her ??
