Someone up thread said they were surprised at the crying as they had all only known each other for about 4 days. However Kas's social media post supporting Joe and Dan noted that they had been together for weeks by the time he left. I guess there might be prep days and filming takes longer than we think so what is shown as one day may take more than one day to film? Any insights?

LindorDoubleChoc · 10/01/2025 09:57

I really think by now we should all know who is who. And if not the Radio Times page is only one click away.

I didn't follow Fozia's logic at all in suspecting either Linda or Lisa because they volunteered to play the game first Confused and I also found her style of questioning Linda rather interogatory. I wouldn't mind if they murder Fozia although I think Linda made a very big mistake by immediately running and telling Lisa.

Unlike lots on this thread, I rather like Linda! I think she's got personality and I don't mind that she's not a great Traitor, not everyone can be as cool as Minah.

So Livi turned out to be just the sort of character I suspected several days ago. Playing the victim card big style - it's quite breathtaking how she managed to make all that attacking of Freddie and Tyler all about her!

Felt a bit sorry for Tyler. Group think in action - but I wasn't sorry to see him go and to watch the faithfuls get egg on their faces again. I'd quite like the same to happen tomorrow night with Freddie (although I will feel more sorry for Freddie as he's just more likeable) because at the moment I am definitely team Traitor rather than team Faithful.

No I mean Alex.

Oh, sorry! I can't see that resemblance myself.

pinkdelight · 10/01/2025 10:08

I don't know why they get so self-flagellating about banishing a Faithful by mistake. Numbers-wise, of course they're gonna banish lots of Faithfuls and there'll always be sufficient Traitors left in the game. It'd be a very short show if they picked off the Traitors and split the pot between 20 of them! But course the drama and angst is amped up and they lose all perspective and go to pieces.

While we're on lookalikes, I think Dan has a look of a youngish Sam Rockwell. Not as hot obviously, but definitely a similarity there for me.

Delurking to say I agree with this!

Although I would be happy for Fozia to stay in at least a bit longer than Lisa, Joe or Livi!

AddieLoggins2 · 10/01/2025 10:13

This series feels a lot more like series 1 to me.

I agree with Minah that they needed to break up the clique. I would have tried to recruit Leanne rather than Anna. She does try to use some logic (more than the others anyway), and she's good at the tasks. I also think she is trusted enough by the clique that she could start dropping names and others would follow.

I don't really understand why they banished Tyler. He's annoying, but his constant uncertainty and changing his mind was more indicative of faithful - a traitor would have a plan and stick to it, only changing to throw a fellow traitor under the bus if they were 💯 that they would be going! (And it's not like Tyler is clever enough to double bluff)

I suspect the edit is doing a lot of heavy lifting in making it look like Minah is flying under the radar. I wouldn't be surprised if her name has been mentioned (all be it fleetingly) and it's not been shown, so that there will be a shock banishment at some point. Similar to Amanda in series 1.

Snowmanscarf · 10/01/2025 10:14

Last year, there was a lot more herd mentality voting and unfortunately Tyler suffered from that this year.

I didn’t actually mind him too much.

I am not sure, they do all appear to meet each other for the first time on the train. I think the idea they may know each other better than that and have interacted loads beforehand would go against the premise of the show.

But on Uncloaked they are all really shocked about Minah and saying she's never been mentioned.

Lentilweaver · 10/01/2025 10:20

Those not mentioned at round table
Minah
Alex
DanJoe
Jake ( I think)
Frankie.

What I found 'interesting' about Tyler was how utterly gobsmacked he was on Uncloaked when he was told who the traitors were.

I don't think it had occurred to him that it was possible that he might be being hoodwinked by an elderly lady and a female POC. He'd disregarded them.

Samcro · 10/01/2025 10:27

i love Minah and hope she wins. also like Alex.
not keen on Fozia but she did get Linda straight away, but seemed to do nothing with it.
Liv is a mean girl type. she was awful to freddie.

TheBunyip · 10/01/2025 10:34

EdithBond · 09/01/2025 23:56

She’s playing a pretty shrewd game too. I think the people we’ve seen less of so far (Francesca, Alex, Anna) might go a long way. I suspect they give more airtime, early on, to the people who go out sooner, so you feel you know them.

i think that is exactly it. the noisy youngsters are getting all the screen time at the moment but the older, quieter ones will come to the fore - it's still fairly early days. and there hasn't been much opportunity for strategic reasoning and slip ups, that's due to the point in the game we're at

i like pink hair, Francesca, lisa and charlotte, i think Leo has potential too but has only recently had any air time at all. i think once the noise and numbers reduce and the strategic moves take over more they're going to play a more interesting game

Weeks! Crikey. This interview with Alex from S1 says she was there for two weeks and she lasted [spoiler alert for those who haven't seen series 1]

Episode 8. Maybe from start to finish it takes three weeks and they have a rest day in between filming here and there?

I think it was a valid question from Fozia all she asked was why did they volunteer first?. Linda was extremely defensive and made herself look guilty.
Linda could have just said she wanted to get the task over and it looked as though no one was going to volunteer. Then she could have asked Fozia why did she volunteer to get off the train and they could have had a conversation about how it's often the case that older women feel they have to smooth things over or something like that and they could have had a proper conversation without her flouncing off.
She was the same when Jake asked her if she was a traitor, immediately offended and defensive. I would have said no are you? And said something about it could be any of us and no one is going to say yes even if they are. Or made some other light hearted remark.

Snowmanscarf · 10/01/2025 10:59

I think he was impressed, to be honest, as he didn’t suspect them at all. I don’t think ethnicity or age came into it.

Whoarethoseguys · 10/01/2025 11:04

Iwishiwasagiraffe · 09/01/2025 23:19

Really don’t think that’s relevant. You can’t expect the traitors (one of whom is a POC herself) to not choose someone because of their skin colour.

if they choose Fozia, it’s because Fozia is smart and therefore a threat. Not because of her skin colour.

It's more about people having their own unconscious bias and distrusting someone because of spurious reasons like the way Kas suddenly became a suspect for no reason other than he seemed too nice and he had a twinkle in his eye and he was a doctor. I'm not sure he would have been voted out if he had exactly the same characteristics and he was a young white woman or if he looked like Alexander.
It's very interesting the way people act and how they become suspicious of people.

Snowmanscarf · 10/01/2025 11:09

See, I don’t see it like that. I think someone framed Kas early on, and everyone followed suit and he became an easy target. Tyler (white and male) suffered the same fate last night, and Elen (white and female) did a week ago .

pinkdelight · 10/01/2025 11:12

Totally! I find it hilarious that they thought all his actions were cleverly calculated and not him being all over the place in a flat-spin.

CaveMum · 10/01/2025 11:33

Part of me really hopes that they keep an all-female Team Traitor just to see how the dynamics play out. We’re already seeing from the reactions of some of the removed male contestants that they have underestimated the Traitors as they had no clue.

I think Minah has been clever to befriend Dan. The “Scousers stick together” element is good cover and he could end up being the Mollie to her Harry.

kindlyensure · 10/01/2025 11:56

I liked the way Minah played the whole 'click' thing last night. Plant the seed, let Freddie bring it up, but then after it had played out, she backed him up to the group, saying they were 'kind of' a click. So if the click thing comes back to her, she can be seen to just be mentioning it off the back of Freddie.

Interesting how when she pointed it out, Leon (and I had to look his name up because I still don't know who everyone is!) reflected and went to find Freddie to make amends. Which shows her quiet power in the group that they are not realising.

I think if the 'click' (argh) hadn't been so immediatley defensive and Tyler - who seemed to be quite a laid back chap - had acknowledged how Freddie felt and that maybe they were a bit clicky and sorry and all that, he might have had a reprieve at the table.

TitsInAbsentia · 09/01/2025 22:42

She's very open about her prosthetic eye and has lots of photos of her without it on her instagram.

I keep seeing a Premier Inn advert pop up on my facebook page that she clearly modelled for. She doesn't have her prosthetic eye in for that.

PlumpHobbit · 10/01/2025 12:03

The next thread title definitely needs to be linked to the "click"

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 10/01/2025 12:05

Lentilweaver · 10/01/2025 10:20

Those not mentioned at round table
Minah
Alex
DanJoe
Jake ( I think)
Frankie.

Only time I can recall Jake being discussed, is back when he brought up Linda - she suggested he was deflecting. So he's had two votes both from Linda

I wonder if she'd stuck with that - not directly but planting a seed like Minah did with Tyler, and letting someone else appear to make the first accusation.

Completely agree with this!
