Continued discussion for season 3 of The Traitors

She’s playing a pretty shrewd game too. I think the people we’ve seen less of so far (Francesca, Alex, Anna) might go a long way. I suspect they give more airtime, early on, to the people who go out sooner, so you feel you know them.

I salute Livi for showing herself without her prosthetic eye in. I can’t salute any of her behaviour mind.

I think Alex looks like a young James McAvoy. Also Leon reminds me of an actor type but I can’t think who.

But I kind of don't want her to go yet - only because I want her to be there when (if) Freddie is banished and announces he's faithful.

I think the reason everyone thought they might've tried to kill Leanne and not Minah is because Alexander told everyone he was giving his shield to one of three people, therefore protecting those three.

I think Dan will be last year's Mollie. Carried to the final with Minah with 100% trust in her, then she'll pull the rug out from under him.

No one wants to suspect the people they're closest to but if you're not getting murdered then that's probably the reason why! A traitor needs a faithful who trusts them on their side and it's in their interests to keep them in. I guess that's why it's usually the less intelligent ones as the others might figure that out.

I agree. I was very disappointed in Linda. Until that point, I actually loved her, partly because she's such a hopeless traitor who keeps surviving in any case! Her reaction to Fozia was unpleasant. Getting so angry, when Fozia was just playing the game and asking questions. She (Fozia) is at a disadvantage due to her late arrival, and understandably needs to find out what's afoot. I can understand Linda feeling worried, and feeling she needs to be careful; but to be so angry, it didn't feel nice.
I also agree that the lovely people are repeatedly being piled on. Elen, Kas and now Freddie. It's bullying, and I really don't like watching it at all.
However, I keep reminding myself it's been massively edited, and there's loads we're not seeing... But, it's a disappointing series for me this year. Yet I feel compelled to keep watching for some inexplicable reason! 🤭

You lot are confusing me talking about Love Island types. I don’t think any of the contestants are particularly vain. The most glamorous is Leanne but she doesn’t actually fit the stereotype at all.

They do seem more emotional than previous series but reality tv is going like that generally unfortunately. Loads of ‘friends for life’ ‘I love you all’ high drama and crying.

They seem to really take it personally when being accused of being a traitor hence the emotion. Like they’ve forgotten that 3 people were picked pretty much at random and it doesn’t make them bad people.

I don’t think we can judge this series as “disappointing” yet - it’s still really early days. By January 24, the last episode, we won’t even remember who half of the people still in it last night even are.

He reminds me of Wendell Pierce from The Wire.

Yes I thought Linda pouncing on Fozia and slagging her off was really off. Linda is a rubbish traitor and brings little to the whole experience.
Fozia is very good at reading people you can see her really watching everyone, I'll be so disappointed if she goes as I think she is really good at this.

The crying and talk of "clicks" is driving me up the wall 🤣. I don't think anyone is being bullied, it's literally the game, some of them just seem to be taking it so personally. Livi is acting like if you are a traitor you must be pure evil and if you are banished you are never seen again. She's so bloody dramatic. Loving it though, especially for Claudia's wardrobe

I think Fozia also told Frankie and can't remember who else (Alex?) in the kitchen that she suspected Linda and/or Lisa so at least there is someone else if she gets murdered.

I really hope they chose Livi instead. I hated the way she attacked Freddie. She's allowed to say he's a traitor but he's not allowed to say anything about her or her friends? And if course the pronunciation of clique.

The age break down that someone posted earlier was interesting. There's hardly anyone in their 40s or 50s - maybe just Fozia and Frankie- who could bring a bit of calm to the house.

Yes when they were arguing and she could have her say but wouldn't let him talk. She's going to be gutted if he gets kicked out and is a faithful.

I'll be really disappointed if they choose Fozia. She's really interesting to watch and I can see why she was cast. But sadly I think she's in the firing line

I thought Linda was doing that in a half arsed attempt to plant the seed of her being a traitor.

I can see why Linda was annoyed with Fozia. Nobody wanted to be the first to do the challenge. Only Linda & Lisa stepped forward. Fozia was wrong. No other couple wWas prepared to do it first.
If I was Linda, I would be wanting Jake out. She needs to take the risk of murdering him, then if challenged, claiming she is being set up and the traitor is so obviously trying to frame her. Then if pushed throw someone’s name into the ring who has bad mouthed her such as Fozia or Anna. Maybe she could keep Jake in for a few rounds but she absolutely has to get rid of him.
I’m also glad Curtains has gone.
They need to get rid of a few more average men.
I can’t believe they didn’t understand why Lisa would say as God is my witness. Who thick are they?
She is wearing a crucifix! Duh probably a Christian then.
I think she could have chosen not to reveal that she is an ordained priest, however judging by the intelligence of this lot, they need it spelling out to them.
I think I’d also be looking at murdering one more of the clique, maybe Leon next.

I’d want rid of Fozia if I were a traitor. She is a stirrer.

I wished they'd wear name badges. I get so muddled up with them. Only noticed Anna yesterday for first time.

I hope they don't get rid of Fozia. She is interesting to watch and I want to see what she will do with her suspicion about Linda

Jake has already told her he suspects Linda, but he's not brought it up on the round table for a while now.

Linda should murder Jake.
Fozia is too obvious a target.

I only know Anna because she wears terrible clothes. I’ll remember Livi because she was whiny and annoying last night.

But I’m struggling with several of them.

Livi’s tears and dramatics is getting boring. She needs to stop now and with a bit of she will go next.
Why has no one sussed Minah as a traitor she is playing a good game.
The one who voted Linda at the start should have stayed with his gut instinct and voted her every time instead of voting everyone else offf - he’s an idiot.

She's very astute, and that's the danger for the traitors. I agree she is interesting to watch and head and shoulders above the others in terms of intelligence.
