Has anyone binge watched all 4 eps and looking for a discussion?

I'm 20 mins from the end of ep 4.

@Phase2 what was the word? I'm more invested in finding that out than I was in the tv show

The word would have related to the sweets Miles gave Theo, I typed it in a review of the Lindsay Lohan Christmas film and got the same, you can see it on the post now.

I've binged it and then thought I must have read the book, I think there was a bigger back story about the death of brother David in Scotland - the role of his mum was really brushed aside in this. I also thought Jessica Brown Findlay would end up holding the key to the story as she is a great actor.

@harping Yh strange that she said she'd let no harm come to David yet the reason she gave Theo away was to protect him. Couldn't she make sure Theo wouldn't be harmed?

They really played on my heart strings having Miles ignore David when Theo was about...

I really enjoyed the book. I found the tv show ok, it was slow to get moving and the end was ridiculous but it was entertaining enough.

Can someone spoil it for me? I got fed up because people were doing daft things that no one would ever do.

I didn't really enjoy this programme, too many daft plot holes, Miles was an infuriating character, and the whole swap thing made no sense at all.

I obviously put my views in such strong terms that Mumsnet have hidden my post about it!

and the never ending promotional mn Ad threads about it and adverts that keep popping up are just adding to my outrage 😆

I spent the first 3 episodes feeling it was gruelling and upsetting (and as an ex social worker the way that cafcass woman terminated the contact after a short time because the mum understandably got upset at her child saying someone else was his mummy 😡

then the 4th episode glad Miles got his come uplanxe but what a ridiculous plot twist!

so she didn’t have the courage to leave but did have the courage to swap babies and give up her son to strangers “to protect him” (er… leaving would also protect him) and did have the courage to send the video in.
And totally unbelievable cunning Miles would forget about the cameras in his house 🙄
