I know I'm as miserable as Phil tonight, but I'm not convinced by Suki and Eve as a credible couple. I think she seemed more suited to that other lady ( the one who was a widow )
She was classy and Eve has a very dark side to her. ( I know Suki can be like this too, but it's different to Eves 'dark side ' plus we know why she's like it )
Anyway, at least they look happy

After "Phil Mitchell? Best Sex I Ever Had" , Tracy isn't going to bother with a long streak of piss like Zac !

Suki was definitely better suited to the widow, the wife of the man Nish killed. They had real chemistry and she was Suki’s first real love.
Eve also had a nice potential girlfriend who she briefly got with when she was on a break from Suki. They both just have too much drama gone on between them to be happy long term. It wasn’t that long ago that Ravi put Eve in the boot of car and planned to kill her but now she is fine to play happy families with him.

I think Zac is lovely looking , but I wouldn't go near him either ( even if he was interested, which he wouldn't be!)
I suppose Eve had to forgive Ravi because of the family dynamics, but in real life you just wouldn't.
Stacey leaves Hope and Arthur home alone with Lily and Charli an awful lot ( although maybe Jean was home too )
They certainly knock back the cocktails yet always skint too.
I'm surprised we didn't see Cindy on a ventilator or Ian being all depressed, but they have quickly moved on from Christmas ( sort of)

Was Suki ever with that doctor woman? I don't remember that. I thought it was Ravi who was with her?!?

No, it was the widow of the man Nish murdered. She turned up after nish phoned up someone to get her to visit ( in the hope that Suki would have an affair with her and break up with Eve I think )
He thought that Suki was having an affair with the husband he killed, but it was actually the wife !

You mean Ayesha - played by Layla Rouass who was in it for a few episodes in August? They were never together - Suki had feelings for her before Nish went to prison, but they weren't reciprocated.

Oh now I remember. They were best friends. She really was gorgeous!

I had the impression it was the lady she had the affair with ?

The Glamorous Doctor was married to "Uncle" the ne who berated Suki for not serving fresh snacks ('cos Suki hasn't got enough to do with running businesses , bringing up her DC singlehanded , dealing with the murder of Jags in prison. ....
He;s lucky he didn't end up wearing the snacls .

The widow was Ex Footballers Wives star who played Amber (Laila )

Turns out the feelings WERE reciprocated at the time - Ayesha tacitly admitted it when they met up again in August. Neither of them had dared to say anything to each other all those years ago, as neither of them thought that the other felt the same way (plus sociocultural pressures), and it was too late for them to see if there was anything there now because Suki was in love with Eve.

Was it ever established if Ravi actually killed Uncle? Denise saw him apparently committing the murder on a laptop and was absolutely terrified of him. She seems to have completely forgotten all of that now, easily done lol.

Why is Denise worried that Chelsea might find out she fancies/ wants Ravi ? What went on there ? My memory is failing me at times and I do watch every episode.. lol

We saw Ravi assaulting uncle, this was after Suki assaulted uncle first (after he tried to rape her). He also cut up his body and took it to Epping forest.

Didn't Ravi and Chelsea date before Ravi and Denise almost got together?!?

Ravi and Denise had a kind of fling first. She almost slept with him. I think he was using her though so he could blackmail her to get info from Jack who was investigating him.

Then he went out with Chelsea, they were in a relationship for a while and Denise was furious about it (because she thought Ravi was a murderer).

Now he’s gone back to Denise😭

I honestly love these ' anything goes ' threads and hoping that the 40th anniversary ones are not too drawn out , disappointing or so far fetched it's just ridiculous !

So Nish does have electricity in the hovel. And a doctor on tap. So now we know how he got the bottle of ‘medication’. I agree 70s the tension has gone from that storyline, just like it has gone from the Reiss storyline.

I quite liked the hen party. I thought Kat looked lovely tonight.

It is hard to know what is going on with Nigel, but he was always a bit dithery and blustery so he doesn't seem any different to me?

Someone was saying earlier about Stacey looking upset after NYD. I think that could be because of Martin and Ruby, rather than the wedding?

(Ronnie and Roxy - I really liked Roxy but I couldn’t stand Ronnie. I don’t miss them!)

Thinking about it, Walford has such a long tradition of doomed New Year weddings, you'd think the locals would steer well clear of the date. I was trying to remember them all and so far I've got:

Ian & Melanie - she dumped him at the reception bc he'd lied about Lucy having cancer
Barry & Janine - she thought he was dying and when it turned out he wasn't she shoved him down a mountain
Syed & Amira - he was gay and having an affair with Christian
Jack & Ronnie - she drowned in the hotel pool on their wedding night

Anyone think of any more?

Mick ended up in a lake at Christmas time ( or NYE) and nearly drowned !
Yet they all think it's a great idea
At least Elaine and George chose November to marry! Not that it's lasted that long
