Having just seen the Max Branning actor on Mastermind, I was thinking how great if it was Max who hit Cindy !

I've got a feeling it's Eve that Nish targets with his mysterious bottle. From the promo video it looks like Suki is on the floor with someone and looks up and sees Nish. Also from the spoiler page on here, it says Thursday that Stacey is upset. Well she's definitely at the wedding because she's in the promo video and she would only really be upset about Eve, she's not gonna be crying over Nugget

I bet it's Eve that is injured or killed too :(
Nobody can be happy on EE and those two are. Even despite the very rocky road to marriage and so on

Let's hope it's just an injury and not death. Although the hospital is getting full with Albert Square residents, they may not have a bed available. Maybe that's how Stacey goes off on maternity, to be nearer to whichever hospital Eve gets taken to, jokes aside this all could have been avoided if Suki had just waited for Nish to die

Yes, I used to love Max. I wish he'd come back. I can see him with Linda.

Agree that the wedding should have been put on ice till Nish died.
Maybe Eve goes up north to see her parents and Stacey goes too or maybe goes to visit them ? ..
I Hope Eve doesn't die as I like her , but after thinking it was Linda , then Cindy who dies and both haven't , maybe this is the death one?..

I read somewhere that Heather Peace only took the part on the condition that thsy promised never to kill Eve off bc she hated the "kill your gays" trope. Of course it could still be Eve but I' stubbornly refusing to contemplate it!

They usually kill off someone in the New Year’s Day episode.

What the actors may ask for and ultimately get are probably two different things , but I didn't think of the gay person dying aspect and it's true that going by past storylines it is the gay partner that ends up dying ;(
I remember Danny dyer saying that he didn't want Mick to have an affair or split with Linda and both those things happened ( I know he wanted to leave the show, so it was different, but goes to show how things change for the actors over time)

It would play badly to kill off a gay character when the gay actress publicly said the terms on which she took the contract. When they want to write her out, they don't have to kill her. It isn't the same as Danny not wanting Mick not wanting to have an affair. The affairs were kind of 'forced' by Kellie's maternity leaves, I'm not sure they would have happened otherwise.

Nish will almost certainly die, we know this is his 'final act' and he has nowhere to go after this.

EastEnders has always been much bigger than any actor. Nobody is indispensable. Sure there’ll be a mini-controversy in the media if they kill off Eve, but that would soon blow over just like all the other ‘scandals’ that have happened in the show’s almost 40 year history.

Harry was so horrible to Nigel today.

Also what is Nigel’s purpose? Is he temporarily back? He is a bit too Rhys-like to have two of them in the show, hope he doesn’t turn out to be a baddy!

Nigel was never horrible before.
I don't remember Julie , but only Debbie and her daughter , who we was with once , but I can't recall any of the stories about any of them or why ended up in Scotland.

Ravi did look good today ( unlike Nish )

Nigel was always lovely, kind of a bumbling fool but good hearted and nothing like Reiss.
His first wife Debbie died tragically but I can’t remember how. He then had a custody battle with Claire’s bio dad and eventually moved to Scotland with the new wife.

Ravi is a beautiful man. If I was Denise I would just keep him around for fun on tap but he is not relationship material. She has been married/in relationships so many times now and they always end in divorce or death. She needs to learn to be happy on her own.

Just watched todays. Suki knows Nish so well.
Maybe Nish hurts Eve, Eve comes up north to recuperate and Stacey comes with her? It's a stretch but I am really struggling to work out where she will go
Mind you Bianca has been missing months and nobody seems to care

iirc we don't see who it is that Suki's bending over on the floor, and I would expect her to be more distraught if it were Eve. Maybe Nish targets Eve but it's Stacey who actually gets hurt/poisoned/whatever, and that's how they work in Lacey's maternity leave?

Denise isn't good on her own.
She has been in lots of very dodgy relationships and still seems to crave more of the same
For all his many faults, Jack isn't as bad as some she has been married to or had relationships with historically !
Interesting theory on Facebook that Nicola is pulling Ravi's strings to get back at Jack via Dee, but it's only speculation

Nigel’s Debbie got hit by a car and died. I think then he met Julie and she was moving fo Scotland so he went with her.

I might have dreamt this but I thought that when Nigel's stepdaughter Claire was back a while ago she said that Nige had run off with Julie's son.

It does sound really made up though now that I've written it down 😂

I don't remember Claire coming back , but maybe Nigel is gay and that's why he isn't engaging with Julie ?

Claire came back around 2008 and tried to seduce Ian for his money which didn't happen and then the same with Bradley before he binned her off.

Walford police are really excelling themselves at the moment. They rushed to tell the Panesar’s that Nish is presumed dead when there is no body, no actual evidence. Did they even search the lake/river?!

Why would DCI Arthurs allow Harvey, a complete random, to sit in when he was questioning Kathy?

And Kathy suddenly telling Martin about the kiss was ridiculous.

Mo’s comments about Cindy’s attack were really unpleasant. She has become a very nasty piece of work.

A really poor episode. It felt like a waste of time. At least Nigel got a shave, but ... he's so boring.

Nish's repeated comments to Nugget about 'dying the way I want to' seem to be building up to him throwing himself on his sword at the wedding. He certainly isn't intending to go back to jail and those are the only two options left.
