Kathy was young when she had Ian.
The age gap has never been right with Kathy and Ian , but they did make her look a bit older in the early days I think and she became more glamorous once she divorced Peter Beale and started having affairs and things

I had forgotten that David wicks and Ian are half siblings until he came back the other month!
Cindy always liked to ' keep it in the family '!

I think Kathy was supposed to have married Pete and had Ian when she was about 19? Ian should about 55 now and her 74??

I feel that Kathy gave up on Phil ages ago
Sharon hasn't, but they are probably better off as mates tbh.

Or 54 - I think he was 14 or 15 at the beginning

Kathy and Phil had a very acrimonious break up - with him becoming alcoholic and also being a rubbish father to Ben. I know he kicked Sharon out also but she had cheated on him and they both seem to think they are as bad as each other!

I never saw the Phil and Kat connection at all , she was just "one of those Slaters" then suddenly she's turning up at his garage in a boiler suit with nought underneath and they're testing the suspension of some punters Toyota Auris .

Kathy had Ian young but she also had Donna - I think she was 14yo - as a result of rape .
Pauline and Pete were very much the "Women stay at home , cook, raise the kids and don;t get any ideas about careers will you "
Kathy and Pete saw their marriage unravel after she was raped by Willmott-Brown , Pete was very victim blaming and acted like he had been wronged .

Classic Eastenders at the moment has Phil and Stella who is again a woman who he has nothing in common with . She's the one who is abusive to Ben .

Cindy and Phil could be good housemates but not romantic partners . Everyone in the Square has an opinion about Cindy and non of them are good opinions . It would be just like Phil to be so Pig Headed as to ignore them all and give her shelter . She;ll use the "I need to be near my kids" line and for Phil that will prick his conscience as he is failing badly there .

They all do
Jack and Jack must've looked across the dinner table at family meals and thought "Yeah you;ll do"

Ronnie/Roxy/Sam
Stacey (his sons baby's gran and his brothers DIL and GF)
Dee and Chelsea
Sharon (who was married to Phil , who had a thing with Jacks sister Suzi) and Jacks brother Derek had a fling with Kat who married Phil .

They don't look outside the Square do they ?

Remind me why we are calling him Jack and Jack ?? 😀

If a Slater sister was ill????? Maybe... could take any amount of time to recover... soap land plausible. Stacy could be their carer.

Meant to add he is so in love with himself .......

I'm not sure Stacey is close enough to go off and care for one of the sisters and she is so busy with everything in the Square .

Little Mo would have Freddie go to her. Not sure where the others are , but wouldn't they be more likely to come to Albert Sq to The Tardis House and The General Hospital Up The Road with Private Rooms .

My Prediction:

Roman's liver transplant fails ( poor Roman)
Martin cannot give any more liver so they start looking for a new donor , it is now very urgent .
Hope is Martins Child and a match .
Stacey says "No Bloody Way, Martin"

Martin ( pressured by Ruby) tries to force Stacey to allow Hope to be a donor .
Johnny Sausage is No Doubt an Expert In Medical Ethics ( what with him being a Hunan Rights Lawyer)

Stacy 'kidaps' her own child to keep her away from the hospital . and goes into hiding
Lily and Arthur are not Martins so no match .

If this is the outcome do I get a prize ?

Stacey is too selfish to care for her sisters if one was ill. Maybe her mum she’d care for. We never see her brother now (can’t think of his name) either.

I remember a scene years ago where Phil flushed Ian's head down the toilet and Cindy laughed at him about it - I think the Ian&Cindy and Phil&Kathy relationships overlapped at least a bit so they were kind of 'connected'.

They are Stacey’s aunts.
