Katie Boulter and Alex DM have got engaged so congratulations to them! (The Wimbledon mass wedding could still be on!)

Hope everyone is ok and not too festively frazzled. I went to a real life shop for the first time in months yesterday to collect our turkey - it was mayhem - everyone looked annoyed and stressed (including me!) and then they tried to give me the wrong turkey - could be the next Wallace & Grommitt film

Congratulations Alex and Katie, at this rate there will be no players left on tour, they will all be on their honeymoon, so there will have to be a mass wedding to prevent that happening, and weekend in a Haven holiday camp for the lot of them afterwards. Tim needs to look into it. Pesky tennis players, messing up the schedules.

I am that point of Christmas, where I have spent a small fortune on Chrismas dinner (there's only 6 on us, and I don't even eat the meat)- but I have still been out every day to buy 'bits I've forgotten'. I'm full of a cold- thanks, DH , so reek of Vicks. There is no food in the house that is not 'for Christmas' .

Our microwave has just packed up. Our toaster packed up on Saturday morning but I’ve managed to replace that. I cannot face going anywhere that sells microwaves now though so we will have to manage without.

I've just caught up with the Christmas Masked Singer.

It was a bit rubbish, in a fun way. .

The costumes are the best bit, as usual .

Hope everyone has had a good Christmas- I'm gearing up for the birthdays next- Ds on Sunday and me on Monday.

Just caught up with Hairy Bikers, You'll Never Ride Alone and am still mopping up the tears.

I keep meaning to watch some of the United cup, but have been forgetting it is on. Plus, I have no real idea of the format, and it does feel like some of the teams have been cobbled together by whoever happened to be available.

Nice interview from Casper when he wonhis match, and described it as his first win as 'an engaged man' and his fiance blushed .

(Hopefully he will have more luck as an engaged player than ADF!).
