Dean has made it on to my dislike list now too

And Martha. She's constantly trying to crawl up everyone's arse 🙄

DancingTurtle · 23/10/2024 10:26

(I am about a week behind, but catching up with the episodes and reading along. I've got to get this off my chest though - I couldn't live with Lily. If she's genuinely that immature and, well, thick, I don't think it's responsible to have her on the programme).

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 23/10/2024 10:40

Ali wanted them to hear her breaking rules conversation I suspect. Break the rules saying she’d never nominate Khaled. She knew it’d get played to the house and make her look like she doesn’t hold a grudge against him. As soon as they said rule break she said it was her immediately. She’s obviously been waiting for it to be announced.

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 11:12

Finally got to watch last night's. It was a classic Grin Hangry Marcello is hilarious.

Who do you think you are Phil from Eastenders?
Your PH levels are probably all off Grin

See I think this too. She is really clever. She is playing the game. She has also planted little seeds in several heads about Dean, saying he was the one who was dominant in their decisions but left her to take the slack. She seems to be trying to plant doubts about everyone to anyone who will listen to her. She also plays the victim card well and Nathan called it when he said she was playing the victim knowing people on the outside are watching and will hopefully side with her.

I don't want her to, but I fear she will somehow find a way to stay until the end.

I don't want him to go this week. I don't always agree with everything he says but he is good to watch! 😂

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 11:32

You'll listen too babes

I just want coffee Big Brother

I'm annoyed they didn't play her conversations where she backstabbed Dean. They were rule breaks too!

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 11:40

That's true @DerekFaker when she said Dean was the one who put "the boys" as she calls them up in the swap

ElderPrice · 23/10/2024 12:08

I'm so bemused by Ali's attitude towards Khaled and the fact that it just doesn't add up that I'm starting to think she's conducting her own private little research experiment to see if she could, on entering the house, randomly pick an unassuming, likeable housemate and insidiously influence the majority of other HMs that the subject (Khaled) has undesirable traits/behaviours that they can't see until she "points them out". She'll be writing up her research paper on "psychological drivers of illusory truth and groupthink" or something as soon as she gets out! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 12:16

@ElderPrice 🤣 you might be on to something. Can you imagine if Khaled had been the one to make the wolf/red witch comments? No way would she have forgiven him as easily as she did Segun. I find her Palestine T-shirt very ironic 🫤

AhBiscuits · 23/10/2024 12:20

I keep wondering if Khaled has done loads of shit they haven't shown as I cannot think of a single way that he has wronged her.

TellingBone · 23/10/2024 12:24

Dean is puzzling me a little. At first I thought he had his head screwed on and was seeing right through Ali's machinations, and was just nodding along while thinking his own thoughts. Then he started vocally agreeing with her, backing her up about people being out to get her etc.

So I can't work out whether he's really drunk her Koolaid, or has he seen her modus operandi [planting the seeds, negatively commenting on those she's planning to target next etc] and is trying to present as an ally and thus keep himself safe for the time being? I'm afraid that he's next after Baked Tatty - she's already made some negative comments about him to others.

Another little thing I forgot to mention and I don't think we've discussed. After Ali 'saved' Lily from being up we saw on the highlights a very brief clip showing a toilet door, with Lily behind it and her whispered words subtitled, 'Yes Lily!' 'Fucking get in!' and similar. Hmmm. Very determined, our Lily.

Marcello has grown on me. He is funny. And very straight and direct. Hope he doesn't go. Hahah has gone down a little in my estimation for her 'famine' and 'starvation' performance in the DR re porridge.

Yes. I'm convinced this is what Ali is doing.

Short memory? Because someone told you that it's spelled with one H in the middle on the first thread so we're having a little joke!

Aquarius1234 · 23/10/2024 13:25

Lily has said she wants to stay till the end like most of the others right from the start.
No issue there.
Martha saying everyone is wonderful is annoying.
I'm surprised Lily doesn't get dressed all day. Even I'm not that lazy.

Virgo1958 · 23/10/2024 15:13

I don't think Ali did forgive Shegan. She choose her words very carefully and it wasn't a joke anyway which she knows.

WallaceinAnderland · 23/10/2024 16:40

As soon as Ali is up (hopefully next week) it will be vote to save I expect. Producers will manipulate to keep her in.

This!! I think the producers are going to do whatever they can to ensure Ali, and Lily for that matter, stay until the final week. They will manipulate things to ensure we can't get rid of her.

Namechangefordaughterevasion · 23/10/2024 16:53

aah. The bantz excuse from Marcello.

Aquarius1234 · 23/10/2024 17:24

I don't dislike Ali and she is fascinating to watch. It's her treatment of Khaled that seems both unfathomable and unfair to me that makes me want some sort of justice for him - lol! But don't want her to leave just yet.

Lily, on the other hand, can get in the sea 😂

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 17:43

@Namechangefordaughterevasion I'm intrigued by your username Grin

User12356 · 23/10/2024 18:22

I disliked Hanah and Segun in last night's episode.
I still like Ali, I don't agree with her all the time but she is interesting. It would be very boring without her. She is autistic and I think people forget that.
I think Emma could win.
