Blonds, I think it is a scam too.
Kojo queried the ' nice ' man's breezy attitude, but Jean is just seeing money signs.
If it is a pension , you'd want to draw it down and invest it yourself ( I know I would ) and not give out any details over the phone and so on
It's definitely fishy.

They said she went off to Bali for a while , so she must be worth a bob or two.
Is she the mum of Barney and Harry or maybe it's a 'two mum ' situation and Harry has a different one ?

I assumed the 12K was real but Jean was going to be scammed by the investment people, love 😉

About the fireworks?

I think the £12k is a complete fiction but the scammer will send Jean documents ‘proving’ it has been invested and is making a tidy profit. He will then get her to send him her own money to invest in the same scheme. Very few people on the square seem to be financially literate. I cannot work out why Kat is constantly poor and living in a tiny flat when she runs a business and Phil gave her a big settlement after the divorce ‘to look after the boys’

It's fantasy financial land in the Square. I've never got how Stacey et al can afford to rent that house. Especially since even those with jobs are never at work.

IRL she might get benefits but those things are never discussed on EE. A house that size in the area of East London I’m from (which is meant to be next to the fictional borough of Walford) would rent for around £3k.

Nish is too arrogant to consider using a burner phone, which could still be traced (with some difficult). Regardless of whether you delete messages, call logs or photos or restore to factory settings, there’s so many ways the police can find incriminating evidence either directly on the phone or via the network providers. Just another way the ‘resolution’ for the six story is flawed.

In totally non spoiler fireworks thoughts, I thought they were going to show each of the six with the coloured fireworks of their dresses. After the third pink one I abandoned that concept. Would have been good though.
