Loved seeing Joe, I don't think Paul Nicholls has been in much in the past couple of years. Why didn't David just tell Bianca who he was going to meet?

I've been dipping in and out so seeing David yesterday was a surprise.

But they've been clever with their cameos, first Jake and now Joe (oh and Fatboy last year for Cindy's story). Maybe a cameo from Grant next.

I'd love to see Fatboy back but he didn't come back for Mrs B's funeral, although there was that card from 'Arthur', and you'd think he would.

So, I've been getting a bit confused with all these 5 minute returning characters (I don't live in the UK). Is it all because it's going to be the 40th Anniversary?

@PayYourselfFirst I should have read your post first! There was also Chrissie's man in a soft top but I didn't know who that was. And I definitely didn't realize that Joe was Paul Nichols. I think I've forgotten most of the back stories after nearly 40 years of watching.

And you forgot about Jack being an absolutely awful dad to Penny!

It would be genius to bring back Vincent now. I will always hope Mick returns. I like to think that his opening scene will be him swimming to the beach at Southend and walking out the water with absolutely no back story. He's just been swimming all this time.
