It's all just so bleak. Phil was the only one who showed some backbone. Cindy is a skank, Nik and Linda are vile.

Only Cathy and Peter know she is preg plus George's blonde dd

Lauren's face when Peter said no-one can help Linda now 😖 It was like he had given her permission to overdose or something, as she too, was a lost cause. I mean, she did take more than her usual one pill afterwards, didn't she?!?

Tonight's episode really made me sad, I know Linda is being awful but I do feel sorry for her and everyone around her. I guess they're trying to highlight how difficult Christmas is for many people

While Phil knows about Keanu, Lauren doesn't, so she had to stop there with her blaming which makes her excuse look weaker as yes, its been 2 years.

I'm not really sure where they'll go with Linda if they don't bring Mick back, I did wonder if Teddy was brought in to be a love interest for her, still could be I guess!

And agree re Junior and Cindy - it's just dull now! And as for the slutty Santa dress - really??!!

I think she's going to die but caused by something from being drunk not from the alcohol. Phil had a new liver so they've been down that route.

I actually feel sorry for Sharon in this as she went through the same with Angie and Angie died due to her drinking in the end. Linda is going the same way.

I find Johnny so believable as the much older brother protecting his younger siblings. Was never really convinced by the new actor but I think this storyline has shown he can act.

I also think that bringing Zack into Sharon's life has given her the much needed family (along with Martin) that she was so desperately in need of. I thought at the time it was all a bit far fetched and they ruined the Den/Princess thing but it's good to have him there so she doesn't go running to Phil with everything.

I also predict a Linda death at Christmas. That's generally when they like to hatch or dispatch people and her sleeping/passing out under the Christmas tree of doom is foreshadowing.
My guesses for Christmas/ New year are
Birdgate tapes get revealed/ the affair between Cindy and Junior.
Linda dies
Probably Nish too but not before doing something dastardly
Bianca/ Reece kidnap gets found out, Surely they can't keep her locked in that garage for much longer.

To have any kind of addiction and end up like Linda must be so hard
Really sad storyline , but she's been like it for years now since 2019 at least if not before
She was drunk on the boat that sunk on the Thames just before lockdown

I wondered if she would freeze to death on that bench. She's an amazing drunk actor.

The scene with Ian as Santa in the sleigh managed to walk the line between funny and heart breaking very well. When it's dross, like shoe horning Mickey in, it's bad, but when it's good, like the Shakil knife crime bit, or this, it's very good.

Ugh Cindy and Junior have no chemistry at all, and always look like teenagers kissing for the first time - all aggressive and wet and bitey.

In fact, Cindy has nothing at all likeable about her. She's bitchy, she's annoying, she's having an affair, looks cheap, and has zero sense of humour or personality. She's utterly pointless.

Cindy always was as is she now.
She hasn't changed at all.

I’ve never understood why all the men go mad for Cindy. That dreadful whistling voice and all the fake hair. More fool Ian

It's purely speculation over Linda blonds !
I don't think anyone really has much idea of where the character is actually heading at the moment. It's all bleak with her , but it Aldi needs some kind of resolution too

They deserved each other though

Thought last night’s episode was very well done with the three addicts. Very sad though and the way they ended it with Linda lying down on the bench I felt she would might die of hyperthermia.

Wouldn't it be ironic if she died and then muck turned up alive and kicking
