Couldn't see a thread for this new USA series of the pods.

Netflix Pace just means not posting who got together and who split before it's been shown onscreen.

Hope some of the usual posters are about and want to discuss as well as anyone new

What the blazes is going on with these shoes. I'm officially old. On episode 2. Hoping to love this, was all in on the UK season!

Just started episode 3. Think there are some couples with real potential. Wonder if it will beat my favourite season with Brett and Tiffany and Zac and Bliss.
I’m much preferring these participants to the last couple of series, including the UK one, they actually sound like they’d be interesting, intelligent people to spend time with. Even Brittany wears her gold digging heart on her sleeve.

Enjoying this, on 2nd Mexico ep, not sure where Leo and Brittany went? DH thinks the bloke with Hannah looks like Simpsons Mr Burns. Weird dynamic with those two, gone from comfortable to bitchy very quickly. Love Stephen, he's sounding so like Seth Rogen

There was a notification onscreen saying that they weren't chosen to continue to Mexico and that they went on a trip to Miami and broke up shortly afterwards.

Loving Monica and Stephen. Monica is absolutely gorgeous!

Leo and Brittany going to Mexico would've made for good TV for sure 😃

I'm not fully up to date but not liking Hannah. At all.
You can tell she's not into Nick at their reveal (haven't watched the Mexico trip yet).
Also, saying she's one foot taller than Nick, girl what? Does she know what a foot is? And she's not taller than him at all, she was wearing massive heels and was still a little shorter.

I think she's very fake and pretentious. Her and Leo would've made a good couple 🤪

I wondered why they didn't stir things up by having them in Mexico but I felt there was something off about both of them that might have put the production team off. I can see Leo being a right pain in the arse on set

I was surprised that they didn't sent Leo and Brittney to Mexico too, they usually like to have the second choice around for the drama.
But agree he would have been a nightmare for production too.

They might turn up with some of the others at the get together when they are back in the states, I remember that happened last time.

Yes, I wondered if thats why they bothered to show an engagement and put up an explanation. They haven't done to those not included before, so it would make sense if they were planning on them reappearing.

It could be that Netflix showed their engagement for some of the following reasons:

They make good TV
They'll play an important part later, maybe in Hannah's story.
Netflix wants to send Brittany to Perfect Match so had to introduce her and tell her story. They regularly send off some of the contestants there.

I tried Perfect Match, found it grim. Brittany perfect for it though

I just literally can't get over how Monica is a full package - she seems kind, smart and extremely good looking. Hopefully she won't let us down 🤪

As for men, Gareth is so handsome 😍 👖

Yeah, PM has no depth to it.

And another (most likely) one - pod episodes were so boring, that love triangle was probably the only interesting thing.

Duck couple and couple where the guy keeps mentioning a dog and going woof are not going to make it, so many red flags! Clear that duck woman got the ick with the guy as soon as she saw him but I think she just wanted to be on TV. The rest of the couples might stand a chance, you just don't know what bumps in the road lie ahead in the real world.

I'm struggling with the Mexico episodes, other than Hannah they all merged into one in the pods and I just don't remember enough about them to care.

The couple discussing their fight, I had no recollection him at all.

The editing is really off this season and it's too soon since the last one. Which is the opposite for Netflix usually.
I'm also struggling with the latest season of The circle. Feels over done and boring now.

Its definitely very boring this season. But last season was boring too.
Don't like Hannah. Too immature.
Didn't like Brittany or Leo either. I don't believe the name slip was accidental.
I'm not rooting for any couple.
LiB UK was more enjoyable.

I've just finished the first episode of the new batch, so very brief thoughts following:

Suffice it to say, I've gone off both Monica and Ramses

Monica and Steven are very uncomfortable to watch
Ramses and Marissa I really liked- but now I think he's a judgemental twat who will dull her shine

I can't see anyone staying married. The first new episode was a bit boring. I'll tackle the rest at the weekend

I'm watching something else at the moment. I'm not in any rush, which is very telling because I usually can't wait

Oh no. I'm just watching this now. That fight and them nearly breaking up - I might have to rewatch the fight. I remember watching it thinking huh?

At the end of this episode. What the.....

I haven't watched episode 8 yet (the 2nd of the new batch, is that right?)- is it worth persevering for the drama- or maybe a comeuppance of two?
With Ramses' and Marissa's fight, I just felt like he was uncompromising and ok with watching her in great discomfort and basically have her whole life called into question morally- he's a C U Next Tuesday and no mistake!
And all the slack she's cut him with that silly hair 😆
