I once did Orient Express from London to Silverstone for the Grand Prix - no idea what it would have cost, my ex won the tickets at some corporate event with his work. Was pretty awesome though, we ate on the train on the way there, and they gave us wicker hampers of food for during the GP

that dinner service is stunning

This episode felt 'off' to me.

Under great pressure with the prep and 9am deadline. An unfamiliar tiny kitchen that is moving (made worse by the camera/production crew). Diners who expect excellence. Everyone does so well; nobody makes a big mistake.

I get the feeling that they get lots of help when the cameras aren't recoding.

I mentioned it on one of the threads. How someone can go from not cooking to doing the things he is. He must have been having lessons. You don't just pick it up because you are on a cookery show, though it might have inspired him to want to learn more.

On the train a lot of the trips you would just book one way others you seem to get a brunch on the way out with a Bellini and then a dinner on return with a glass of something for £505 each

The platform they depart from at Victoria is just past the M& S food and the Macdonalds so I guess there's option to eat before you leave

I really, really like all four finalists and think the standard is really high but, at the risk of an uber-jinx, I'm going Vito - Rochenda - Craig - Harry. But they are all great.
