I think that we're going by car and will hopefully park somewhere and either tram or walk to the arena - it will probably be more busy tomorrow

Did it take long to get in? Just wondering what sort of time to get there

No was pretty quick to get in, security is just an automatic scan, no need to take bags off and empty pockets, then there was a bit of a bottle neck as you got to the main doors but they had loads of staff scanning the tickets so think it was less than 2 mins we were stopped there. Think we went in at 12.45 and had plenty of time to get to seats (even with having to go and get tickets swapped). I'm going to aim for us all to be in Victoria for 12.30 tomorrow but that's because we're meeting ludite family members who need showing how to get the tickets I've transferred them in ticketmaster app. Its worth adding the tickets to your Google wallet as one time we were coming out I couldn't get them to load in ticket master but Google wallet was fine.

Think we're going to park round the back of strangeways. My neighbour works near the arena so might ask her where's best.

Neighbour said park behind snooker Hall or in arndale so we'll head for one of those.

I think we will....just probably won't be the result we want! Whatever happens it'll be a fab day, it always is. I took my eldest daughters friend with us yesterday partly to make my life easier and apparently she's told her dad that she's not going to the football with him again as tennis is WAY better

Tennis is definitely better than football (although I'm in the minority in our house!)

We've had a fab day, DC have had a ball but the tennis wasn't great. Dan had clearly hadn't had his weetabix this morning, did win a single game in first set, finally got going in second d set but was too little too late. Jack had a temper tantrum when he lost tie break in his first set, totally trashed his racket, I actually hope he gets fined for it because it was disgraceful especially with it being a Sunday and there were loads of kids in. I know he was feeling stressed with not having Andy or Cam on the team but its no excuse.

Thankfully Neal and Henry saved the day with a win in the doubles....Still got a bit of a crush on Neal, he's just lovely 😍 didn't hang about for selfies this time, the one I've got from Friday is enough!

We had a good time too (apart from the result!) - both Dan and Jack looked knackered but the doubles was good - it was good to see Shapo and Felix in the flesh and the atmosphere was good (even though it was all over after the first match)

Glad you had a good time Stop - I agree about Jack's racquet smash - I've never seen one live and it wasn't that far from us - I was a bit shocked - didn't really expect it from him or in that environment. Hope he felt embarrassed when someone had to use a leaf blower to get rid of the debris (wonder if they're the ones leftover from Wimbledon )

Naomi is funny - we definitely stayed until the end to get our money's worth

I know Jane - I expected it to be dark like the cinema from seeing it on the telly but I suppose it had to be light when they were playing for them to see the balls

For me it was when Leon ran on to pick up as much of the debris as he could!

I'm probably going to bow out of this thread now, thank you all for having me.....I normally just lurk and pop up during Wimbledon and davis cup. Dan is saying he's thinking about retiring from Davis Cup to let others step up. I hope he doesn't make any hasty decisions because he's played some of his best tennis representing GB and he loves it.

Both Shapo and Felix played better today - Dan and Jack looked as if they'd hit the wall and couldn't do much more

I've just seen an interview where Rafa said that he tells his son that he's a potato because he's not really won anything since he's been born (I'm sure that Rafa junior will be able to look at the videos and see all of the trophies and realise that his Dad really isn't a potato! )

I see Andy is continuing to enjoy his retirement. He's playing in the pro-am golf tournament at Wentworth this week
