Is anyone watching?

I'm just halfway through the first episode and was dying to discuss it!

These participants are not what I was expecting at all. They actually sound a lot more interesting than most reality TV fodder.

Something always felt a little off about steven and sabrina - they both always seemed a bit ‘surface’ - like all smiles and perfection,
nothing particularly raw and real. Like a PP said, never had a disagreement etc.
People say he was putting on a bit of a show but I think she was too/as bad?
I always felt like she had that big perfect smile when saying ‘I appreciate you’ ‘I love you so much’ but the eyes looked a little
uncomfortable and she was forcing it. Him
too.

Just watched the reunion. Not overly surprised at the outcomes, could have easily predicted them! Beniah, Freddie and Bobby came across well as did all of the women. They seemed like a very mature bunch compared to US versions. Would have liked more drama as a viewer, but it's their real lives at the end of the day!

It seemed to be very protective of Cat, the scripting etc. she’s a fragile character so I don’t think they pushed the questioning too much. They really could have made her look like the bad guy but they didn’t.

I thought several did not show themselves in a very good light or behave with the dignity, given the occasion. I would include in those both Sabrina and Stephen, as well as Maria, and Demi (her ridiculous outburst at Sam).
On the other hand Tom was dignified and Cat behaved surprisingly well, as did Ollie.
Lovely to see those who are still happily married.

How did they all get away with keeping things secret from social media for a whole year?

I've never heard the phrase "sight unseen" until watching this series, and if I never hear it again, I'll be happy 😅

I enjoyed the UK reunion, it seemed more genuine than the other series. I'm glad Ben and Nicole are still together. I feel a bit meh about Bobby and Jasmine. I don't get the Demi love...she irritates me with her constant self loathing / self love yo yo-ing. Glad she stood up to Sam though.

Yeah, Demi is a nice girl but I don't get the whole putting her on a pedestal.

I know, it's like they're trying to shoehorn it into everything to do with the show. It doesn't even mean what they're using it to communicate, does it?

Maria blatantly lied when she said she never meant she expected the man to pay for everything! Tom too far too much of the blame - well, all of the blame.

Quite an enjoyable reunion.So much nostril flaring and selfrighteous anger, though.

I thought Nicole and Ben seemed very happy. Their video was lovely and they seemed to have lots of fun and laughter together.

Thought Jasmine and Bobby's video was a bit "showy". Showing off presents to each other, the petals on the bed for Valentines etc.

I don't dislike Jasmine but she seems all about the appearance and show. Face caked in makeup and awful dress showing off her boobs. Nicole, on the other hand, seemed to have very little makeup on and had a much nicer dress on.

Yeah, he bore the brunt of it all. It was as if he'd been advised not to try and justify his behaviour at all, when actually it was all quite understandable.

I might be too old and not understand current fashion but I thought the dress didn’t fit very well and made her boobs squashed and misshaped. She’s gorgeous and I thought this was a bit strange.

@eish there does seem to be a lot of fashion that young people are wearing that squashes your boobs or shows the under boob area. I'm guessing my mum felt the same about my fashion choices as a 20 something as I do about this!

I think Jasmine looked absolutely gorgeous! When you’re a bit busty the girls do tend to have a mind of their own, I speak from experience! She comes across as quite sensible and heartfelt. I really hope her and Bobby are happy.

She is a very attractive woman but, in my opinion, would look so much better without all that makeup caked on her face. I hated the dress but then I think such low cut dresses look tacky

This why I'm staying single forever more, I totally thought they were well suited.

I thought Demi was a complete arse. Was it all an act on holiday? Something seems off with her. I think she has her eye on a TV career and played it well.

Sam's part in the reunion was painful I thought.

Sam should have leaned in to being the villain. That would get him more reality work.

I felt sorry for Sam. He's not a terrible person, he just got some things a bit wrong, but has been getting abuse online for it
