it is very puzzling what Sonia sees in Reiss
BUT, I wonder if in the end he will turn out to e a criminal mastermind masquerading as a bumbling nerd- maybe there is more to the story of his wife than we know (her mum seems to think so)...and then he ends up engaged to someone with a massive inheritance...

as for Linda without her make up I think it's really refreshing to see a woman on TV looking as nature intended (even though the message we are meant to take from it is that she's too unwell to 'look after herself')
the massive contrast - to the point some women are difficult to recognise without make up- is quite disturbing I think

I thought last night's episode was odd. Have I missed one?? Why was that young lad all bloodied in the face at the beginning and arriving in a cab to meet his dad and then go off somewhere on his own? Was it explained? I didn't catch it if so.
Also the thing with Jean wearing a hot water bottle tied to her back? Was that explained? It didn't seem to have any relevance at all so I wondered if the actress had hurt her back in real life and they had to shoehorn it in.

Why is Harv still giving the woman money ? Isn't Jean aware of this arrangement? I thought she decided it was a good idea to help her out at one stage? She must know that's why his working longer hours. Or is he not telling Jean the truth?

There was no explanation of either the bloke with blood on his face or Jean with the bad back. Found it all very odd. Wish that Maya would hurry up and be written out. As if Harvey would keep handing over his wages to her. Can’t see how the little that he must earn would be of any help.

I feel that with Harry ( Teddy's son) all might come clear in time as they are both dodgy and something is going down where they live. ( I don't know where they live, but can't be that far )
Teddy might be money laundering , but that is a pure guess and only based on him having the money for nice jumpers and clothes.

This will sound harsh, but Harvey didn't beat him up, his son did and he is now in prison. Awful, but not Harvey's fault.
He can't be held responsible for their financial difficulties forever when he has bills to pay himself and probably not earning a fortune.

From what I recall , Teddy told Reiss Phil was out and he'd pass on the cash
Reiss gave him the money in a brown envelope that he had got from Eve.
I think that Phil is chasing up his original investment though which was a lot more and the 2k was interest, but I might be wrong

Begs the question why Reiss was stupid enough to think he could pretend there was an investment

Reiss had already scammed Sharon by making her clients for the gym accounts pay into his account or something, but that seems to have been forgotten about the clients haven't cottoned on they were scammed too!

I seem to remember a figure of £35,000. The 2 grand was just the quick return he’d promised him. Reiss still owes the original investment which is the money he stole from Phil and Sharon (the gym suppliers).

I think Jean was moaning about being too hot and having a bad backwhen her and Harvey were banging on about her going on holiday.
I thought she said they couldn't afford to pay guilt money/compensation to Maya as they were broke, so that's why Harvey is working so much so he can still pay her.

I really hate Sonia and Reiss. Presumably, Teddy is a loan shark and will screw them over, paying back the loan and have Reiss under his thumb
