Did anyone watch this. I could not see a thread

I’ve been looking for a thread too. Just us two! I quite enjoyed it but not sure if half the cast are clever enough to keep up with the swapping.

jay55 · 14/05/2024 21:04

I really enjoyed yesterday.

Like race across the world meets deal or no deal.

Inlimboin50s · 14/05/2024 21:10

I'm loving it. Getting slight Traitor vibes.
It's taken me a while to get how it works but I think I'm there.

jay55 · 14/05/2024 21:14

And now the bad cocktails gives a bit of I'm a celeb crossed with Hell's Kitchen taste test.

HGC2 · 14/05/2024 21:17

Just catching up on this now, some interesting characters!

lifeisafunnyoldgame · 14/05/2024 21:18

Loving it! Isn’t something I would usually watch but I was ready and waiting tonight.

effoffwind · 14/05/2024 21:23

Does anyone think the mum with the money looks like Chas Dingles older sister ?

tryingsomethingnew · 14/05/2024 21:45

I really like it. Traitors and glam hotel. Interesting. I think it's brave and risky for the couple who've just said they have the early checkout card. I reckon the last place girls will swap!!

Hahah- yes!

Tropicalsunshine · 14/05/2024 22:04

I can't help thinking it's a shame there's a secret swap. It would be fun to watch a smart person actually track the case.

HGC2 · 14/05/2024 23:38

Who are your faves to win so far?

TyneTeas · 14/05/2024 23:47

I haven't found it as gripping as The Traitors but have enjoyed it enough so far.

The Traitors style music (esp the slow versions of classics) just keeps reminding me it isn't as good by comparison, rather than enjoying it in its own right.

ReadyTeddy1000 · 14/05/2024 23:51

Louie was also in Josh Must Win

Coruisk · 15/05/2024 08:06

Is this ok for a 14 year old to watch?

Dottiethekangaroo · 15/05/2024 08:49

Yes it is totally harmless

I was hoping someone had started a thread. I'm really enjoying Fortune Hotel. I like Stephen Mangan and I think they've cast the couples well. There's real jeopardy for everyone, unlike Traitors where they seem to form alliances early on and you can predict who will be safe. I'm hoping not all the challenges will be physical ones as it's unfair, I liked the cocktails challenge. Reminded me of taskmaster. I'm also getting The Circle vibes with the corridors and knocking at the doors with bad news.

Who do we want to win it!? I like the two guys. They seem to be in it for the game as well as the money.

effoffwind · 15/05/2024 18:07

I was really disappointed in the young girl who had a paddy when that couple gave her the " leave now " card back
Despite doing the exact same to them
She was quite rude to the group especially the mum and son who have the money just now
Really showed herself up there

Karmagician · 15/05/2024 19:34

I agree. I'm glad they left. They were trying to play 'dizzy' to conceal the fact they were smart when it turns out they were just, well, dizzy!! And the daughter's leaving speech just smacked of sour grapes and showed her immaturity I'm afraid.

Totallyaddictedtoshoes · 15/05/2024 21:34

I'm absolutely loving this, I can't believe the strop last night, what a little madam!!

TyneTeas · 15/05/2024 23:59

A few nice twists in the format tonight to mix it up a bit for who has what

postiealwaysknocks · 16/05/2024 09:39

I'm concerned I'm going to get addicted to this nonsense! I'm still getting to grips with the strategy aspect but a lot of it seems random dependence on the turn of events during the activities and planning for the order of choice in the evening.
People saying they'll trust others to treat them well e.g Jo & Will and the two blokes is daft - it will all get competitive eventually with large sums of money involved. It's a game! The take £10K out is interesting, why wouldn't you?

Alltheusernamesaretakennow · 16/05/2024 14:34

HGC2 · 14/05/2024 23:38

Who are your faves to win so far?

I don't know how long they will last, but so far, I hope Gary and his wife win - they seem quite genuine people.

It's better than I imagined from the trailers, so far... (from a huge fan of Traitors!)

BeaLola · 16/05/2024 17:39

Quite like it and glad those who've gone went early
I think Wills mum looks like Sally Field .

I did like the the couple saying "we've the go home card" - really put a spanner in the "Dizzy" annoying mum and daughter .

I don t know who I would like to win yet - I don't warm to the the best friend ladies - can't recall their names but from Scotland and fibbing about their actual jobs

IMustDoMoreExercise · 16/05/2024 17:47

Am I missing something, but surely it is best for the people with the go home card to come last in the evening challenge so that they are forced to swap with someone and no-one will suspect that they have it?

HGC2 · 16/05/2024 18:15

@BeaLola sally fields, that’s who I was thinking of!
