Did anyone watch this. I could not see a thread

OP posts:

I'm loving this. Stephen Mangan in his shorts is a beautiful sight. He's living his best life! I was sad to see Dan and Claire go - they were clearly the brightest but were also very sporting and fair-minded.

jay55 · 20/05/2024 22:00

I got so confused tonight.
Need to pay better attention.

MuscariFan · 20/05/2024 22:23

Well, that was silly tonight, if they trust their alliance!

Ladybird69 · 20/05/2024 23:03

I was confused with tonight’s challenge. How did Adam and Michael come last?

Cattyisbatty · 21/05/2024 07:38

@Ladybird69 - what do you mean why? They were last getting the tiles.

Ladybird69 · 21/05/2024 11:46

@Cattyisbatty sorry I was watching on catch up. It was the speedboat challenge. I just saw them at a sunken boat but the rest were in speedboats.

TheTripThatWasnt · 21/05/2024 11:59

The sunken boat meant they couldn't go anywhere, so they were last by default (because they couldn't take part).

Karmaisagod · 22/05/2024 07:48

I'm really enjoying this. I'm all caught up and there's been some really thrilling moments. I can't wait to find out who the Early Checkout card has gone to now. For some reason the episodes come out at 7am? So I guess I could look now!

Twonewcats · 22/05/2024 07:54

could anyone explain why Jae and Cherish were fuming at Joanne and Will re the early checkout card? Firstly, I dont understand how they knew for sure it was them who gave them it - and secondly, why they were livid, as it's the point of the game.

I'm enjoying watching alliances, and wondering when they'll stab each other in the back too!

I think it was because J&C thought that they were friends with J&W and felt that they had been stabbed in the back.

I think that J&C take everything personally and don't realise that someone has to get the card and that there is no reason why it shouldn't be them.

J&C knew because they got the case of cash that J&W had given the barrister husband and wife who J&C gave the early checkout card to. So J&C thought that J&W had the cash the night before. What J&C didn't know was that the 2 guys from Bognor had had the cash the night before and had swapped it with J&W after the checkout challenge so it was the 2 guys from Bognor who had given the card to J&C.

I'm pleased that Sam and Alysha got rid of the 2 guys from Bognor as they were just using Sam and Alysha to try and stay in and wouldn't have formed an alliance with them if they didn't need them.

Oh I liked the guys from Bognor, they were just playing the game.

i find cherish and her mate come across as quite vindictive, and the deaf lady I forget her name, sorry, is a bit over emotional about it all and takes it all very personally.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 22/05/2024 13:02

Yes I liked the guys from Bognor too. Yes of course they were playing a game but they also brought a real sense of lightness and camaraderie to the show as well. I found the Scottish ladies who left and the married couple who are still in it very dour. It's a game but it's also supposed to be entertaining!

Yes, the guys from Bognor were playing a game, but at the expense of everyone else. So it is only fair that the others got their own back as they are playing a game too.

That is the risk they took and they lost the game.

@IMustDoMoreExercise

No absolutely agreed. They lost and it was fair for them to go. I just enjoyed watching them on screen more than some of the remaining teams

HGC2 · 22/05/2024 14:57

I feel you don’t get to know the couples as well as you got to know the people on traitors, feel like we are missing loads of good stuff that goes on behind the cameras

YouveGotAFastCar · 22/05/2024 15:00

I'm on the fence about the guys from Bognor. They were just playing the game and they were quite amusing, but their actions take a bit of a different slant given the news coverage of their social media posts... It's probably a coincidence, but does put you off their character.

I've agreed to not watch it until DS is in bed tonight but I'm so tempted 😆

oh fantastic - thanks so much for taking the time to explain, it had really confused me <3

Yes, they didn't come accross as likeable to me and the SM posts don't really surprise me.

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 22/05/2024 15:17

Oh I hadn't looked at any of their SM - maybe my opinion will change!

Not surprised either tbh.

Cattyisbatty · 22/05/2024 15:32

They’re not exactly brains of Britain are they?

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 22/05/2024 15:48

@IMustDoMoreExercise

Thanks for that. Ugh not a huge surprise. Ok glad they have gone in that case.
