Yes, I am not saying that they saw what the others wrote. I am saying that all the couples would have guessed it was 6 but only J&W knew that it would be 7.

But J&W didn't know it would be 7. They could guess/assume, but they didn't know that any more than anyone knew the answers to anything.

Each team knew how they individually voted on each question and had to work out from there what they thought the others would say.

It seemed to me that the early checkout was the key to all this.

All you need to do is not come last and you can kill the team that swap first....
So in all games you know you have the card to hand over...
So you tell last swap if I hand you a swap it is the death card kill the strongest....
This way you both should live till round 5.

The right couple won - they played a good game and won both challenges on the last day.
And yes, generous to give away £5k - I’ve never seen that before on a game show.

jo knew she voted for her son. She did not know if five or six other people voted for him. As such for her it was as much as a guess as everyone else.

They were all guessing. They didn't know Joanne voted for her son, but they didn't know how the others voted either. They took an educated guess that everyone else voted will plus themselves which made 7.

As @TheTripThatWasnt said, it was no different to the question about Jae & Cherish where they also voted for Jae.

In the end I wanted Jo and Will to win the money, so a good result for me. Yes they were very generous to Aysha and Sam, no that question wasn’t fixed.

He'd kept an empty case and saw that the girls had kept their case. Knew that Joanne had won the challenge so how was there still hope??

I was so happy they won.
They played the game so well.

Posters saying they had an advantage re the questions etc, jeez, you could argue that re ANY task.
The brickie was at an advantage for building the tower.
Some were more arty than others so were at an advantage.
Some were scared of the water.

There were advantages throughout.

What age would you say this is suitable from?

DD2 (10, very sensitive) saw this advertised when we watch BGT and has asked to watch it. She enjoyed Survivor and saw a bit of Traitors.

None of the others would have had 7 in mind. Only a number between 1 and 6. On the basis they wouldn't expect Jo to vote for her son (reasonable).

They all had 7 as an option! The fact they didn't put it doesn't mean it wasn't an option. It was an option they CHOSE not to put. No-one knew anything about what other people had put - it was all speculation and guesswork. JoAnn could just has equally have put 6. Every single team knew 2 answers for certain and had to guess what the others were. There was no actual advantage to anyone.
