Tonight gold and white are the ‘In’ colours. There's the obligatory wind machines and pyro. Watch out for dancing surprises cos there's No Rules and a distinct issue with the wardrobe department!

Don’t miss: Uk, Ukraine, Fan fav Croatia, WTF Finland hmm yes and hell yes Ireland.

Housekeeping: Out of the other 15 entries, only 10 will go through to the final. The semi-final is TELEVOTE ONLY. The UK, Germany and Sweden will all perform tonight as part of the main show in a change to previous years although they have already automatically qualified for the final.

our entry is pants…love Irelands hope they get through, Ukraine's is good.

Ollys vocals were awful. Are they going with toilet block fircthe final? I'm surprised considering he's in an established band. I thought we'd be in with a chance but that was rubbish.

Poor quality singing as I feared from Olly.

Also possible use of the Eurovision Miming Loophole. Any time you see exactly five people on stage I suspect there's a nondescript-looking bloke/lass in black overalls standing in a dark corner with a microphone filling in notes the lead can't quite guarantee to hit.

Olly used to have a great voice in years and years.

Uk staging is very dodgy. I felt like I needed to cover my kids eyes, DS says he never wants to see it ever again 😂

I'm Irish and our entry has grown on me but I disliked it first time I heard it. Certainly polarising!!
