Van Halen (I think) used to require a bowl of M&Ms with all the brown sweets removed.

In interviews later he said he had no objection to brown M&Ms but it was a test of the venue's attention to detail in the contract and for the actually important requirements.

Actually, for me, a halfway between Matt and Roisin would be ideal. I LOVE rich colour, but not lots of clashing stuff.

We once had to oversee an artist’s rider at work which was being used as a open-air concert venue - white roses everywhere and the audience was not allowed to open an umbrella or they would stop playing and go home. It pissed down and the audience did NOT sing along.
