We're discussing on an anonymous forum - the MAFS participants can't hear us. Jayden his sticking his big fat heeed in their faces at every opportunity. I don't know about anyone else but I wouldn't take relationship advice from someone 20+ years younger than me. Like someone else has already said, someone in their 20s has no idea about dating in your 40s & 50s - it's an entirely different ballgame.

It is a different ballgame but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have some good advice.

As for not listening advice from someone younger, I would. Although, it would depend on who that was eg i'd listen to Cass but definitely not Tori

Personally it came across as the production team had said to Jayden and Eden "look, we've not seen much of you. We need you to be more vocal and create more drama - it's in your contract!". They don't seem to have much personality as a couple. I'm also very aware of how his brother acted and after his revelation about his ex and how he punished her, I think he is a bit of a bulldozer; get's something in his head and blindly smashes it over and over until everyone tells him to bore off.

I think Jayden is getting involved for screen time. His marriage hasn't enough turmoil to get the time at the commitment ceremony so producers may have suggested he raise 'concerns'

Can't see why he would care otherwise

I haven't warmed to Jayden at all. His confession was disgusting and he clearly had zero regret about what he did.
His brother Mitch is an odd one too. He treated Ella really badly. He gives me the creeps - he comes across as thinking he knows better than everyone else.
Old Tim made a reference to Jayden thinking he was MAFS royalty (or something along those lines). It wouldn't surprise me if Jayden has made a big deal of the Mitch relationship (which some of the others probably love and lap up the gossip).
I think Tim's got under his skin because he's not interested in that all that. Jaydens then picked on Tim by spouting "ixpert" type phrases about his relationship with Lu. He's not altruistic enough to be doing it out of concern for her! He dislikes Tim and thinks he will get mafs kudos for "telling it like it is".

If Jayden were being genuinely constructive/helpful I’d agree Daft.

He isn’t. He’s just being a twat and baiting to get a reaction.

I might also be a twat but the difference is I’m not doing it in their earshot and I’m not doing it to create the drama.

A new relationship later in life is not like it was when you were in your 20s. And with age comes the wisdom to know that you aren’t really married and that it isn’t compulsory to consummate an imaginary marriage.

And some are talking about pimps? None worse than the experts who yap on about intimacy and encourage sexual relations long before some would ordinarily. Because they are married.

Fine if that is not hurting anyone. But it is. And pairing folk for the drama is getting tiresome.

I've just finished the episode and does anyone else find Jack's centre parting distracting? It looks SOLID with hairspray, there's no way he could get a brush through that when he take his bun out.
