I wonder if Tori somehow feels empowered by Jack's behaviours, as if it gives them status as a couple by him being so willing to say anything and stand up to criticism. A bit like being the girl that goes out with the 'bad boy' who other boys are a bit scared of- Jonno's apology and none of the others speaking up gave that impression a bit. So she feels they are 'top of the food-chain' the predator with no one to challenge them while Cass and Tristan (clearly much more vulnerable) are bottom.
Deluded if that is how she thinks but it wouldn't surprise me.

After Tori’s performance tonight all I can think about her and Jack is that they deserve each other…

Jayden being pissed off with Timothy for the way he's treating Lucinda, yet has nothing to say about Jack, Jonno or Ben. Whilst I think Timothy needs to shit or get off the pan, his behaviour is nowhere near as bad as them, so why doesn't Jayden call them out too? Oh right, because they're gym buddies. Nah mate.

And Tori with her I'd never stand for a man talking so disrespectfully about a woman speech. Your man said you're best mate needed to be muzzled! The cognitive dissonance is high with her.

Just caught up - I think Cass was right about Tori deflecting, she can't stand to see the happy couples around her.

I think Jayden spoke with L7cinda to wind Tim up, I don't think he really cares just wanted air time.
He knows Timoth has short fuse, Timothy is feeling forced to be more affectionate and it putting him off people going on at him, fair play to Lucinda and Cass for sticking up for him.
Where was Richard tonight only seen his face once at dinner table.

Sara's dress just looked painful.

Yes he really does but he was a but bull in the china shop about it.

• First of all he could have used his quieter voice when talking directly to her just before dinner,
• he could have asked her how she was and that, if she ever needed to talk he be there and
• he could have softened how he spoke at the dinner table so Lucinda wasn't caught in the middle.

Instead Lucinda just went into protective mode for Timothy, which I'm sure wasn't the intention. 🌹

I think Sara is a big fake.

We have a few episodes left i think. I'm only a casual viewer and haven't been able to avoid the spoilers. It's more fun reading these threads than yelling at my tv.

There's still a few episodes to go in Australia. They haven't done any of the final vows or reunion.

They went down to two days a week and so there's bigger gap between episodes.

I believe the final vows are Sunday/Monday and reunion etc the following Sunday/Monday so watch out for spoilers if that's something you avoid

2episodes back to back! What a treat! Andrea's friend chucked her under the bus and Richard's daughter helped. He owed her an apology and space. It wasn't fine to go into that level of detail. not unfixable probably but nothing to do with Andrea's 'baggage' FFS.

Lauren cannot have failed to notice Ben leaping to Ellie's defence at the dinner party after failing miserably to do so for her. She's far too sharp not to have clocked this. I wonder if it'll get a mention later or if she's thinking 'well fine. If you're not into me I won't make a show of myself over you'.

Jayden should have left it after Lucinda asked him to. She doesn't appear deluded or being led on, just content to see the experience through without set expectation, either to the end or until she's had enough. Starting to see the slow burn though at the end there!

I understand the optics of Tori's comment but think she would have said it about anyone. She's treated it as a competition from the start. I think she expected Sara, Eden et al to support her but she wasn't making any sense.

I thought this too, there’s underlying white superiority vibes all over that. As a mixed race woman myself I wondered if I was just especially heightened to comments like this, sometimes you question yourself.

I think Tori has just decided to cast herself and Jack as the “Power Couple” of this season but doesn’t realise it doesn’t work like that at all.

It was indeed refreshing to not have yet another shouted response, and I really like her calm direct approach. But I struggle with Lucinda's manner of communication. Its just all SO controlled and measured, and positive.

She uses the same tone and facial expression whatever she's saying and that's quite confusing. Her tone and facial expression did not convey just how outrageous Jack's behaviour and language was. She sounds and looks the same whether she's talking about nice things, Tim's untidiness, his explosive temper or Jacks angry, controlling misogyny. I love that she doesn't lose her cool but the mismatch between what she's saying and how's she's saying it makes it feel less forceful to me. She said she was disappointed in Jack but doesn't look or sound it. I find that disconnect odd and for me it makes what she says sound less genuine.

Yes I thought the same about Andrea's friend. It's really not all about Andrea's past and a lot to do with a man, old enough to know better, publicly bragging about how much/what type of sex he has with a woman.

Whether or not she told him in words of one syllable how that made her feel (and I think she had shown him and spoken to him about this before) he's old enough to know this is not the act of a gentleman towards a lady. And I think he's had a similar experience in the past? In which case you'd think he would understand and work out why she'd withdraw behind protective boundaries. 🌹

I have a huge ick for Tim the Elder. The (and I know it's all edited) constant staring at people, the flicking his tongue in and out of his mouth, he's like a snake. Jayden called him out on the hissed comments to Lucinda after the sofa sesh - the "don't talk to me" "don't say a word" - comments which are still making me rage. I think this was a nod to the whole group of men not addressing bad behaviour from their counterparts (Jack/Lauren muzzle comment previous dinner party).

Lucinda sticking up for Tim doesn't sit well for me either, I found her behaviour enabling ... Don't talk down to another person because they are 25 years younger than you, shouting him down, tantrum banging the table. Nah.

I very much doubt Tim the Elder was aware of that camera peeking through the bathroom door as he was shaving - there was a lot of body tattoos on display ...

Next year I want to see some more normal people, of course they need to be on the more attractive/work well on screen, articulate type of normal people.

I rewatched the offending commitment ceremony back. Richard didn't say anything offensive (on camera at least).
