I have a half brother who I never even knew about until I was 19. While I have never, ever had sexual feelings for him it is truly weird meeting a sibling after childhood. None of the normal markers of being related exist. You have no shared memories, no shared experiences, no memory of each other as kids. I do not feel related to my half-brother.

I realise my feelings are being manipulated but I feel sorry for the Scottish pair.
