I said the same thing about him needing to be in the recovery position (but only to the dog, because my DH is too squeamish to watch anything medical).

Glad it's not disappearing for a summer break - I was expecting it to. New clinical lead on Saturday?

No new cast in the Radio Times, though it's possible they might keep that as a surprise, I suppose. But maybe Dylan back in charge?

Wonkypictureframe · 11/06/2024 00:02

I read a short interview with the Patrick actor in which they told him about the new series and he didn’t know; they didn’t give the details of what they told him but it seemed quite interesting!

Also no diagnosis letter, whether confirming autism or not, is that short. You normally see several pages of history, test descriptions, results and analysis.

It vary’s and depends on own procedures - Dylan went private, when i done research into going private, I seen one place mention that i’d get a email letter simply telling the diagnosis and about 2 weeks after sent the full report .

and i’ve seen people say that they literally just got sent a letter just telling them their diagnosis and that was all.

Digital spy accidentally put the new clinical lead in there spoilers for this weeks episode (then edited it out).
I was genuinely surprised and confused.

Is it Charlie??

Is it Charlie??

Thankfully not 😂
I’d say but I’m not sure on how spoilers on here work, it’s someone who currently works in the department.

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 00:29

@Shelllc130 how do you know Dylan went private?

It’s Jacob isn’t it 🤦‍♀️

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 00:35

It'll be Stevie

That Private Clinic has been mentioned on the show before, and the letter didn’t have the NHS logo on it.

Tarkan · 11/06/2024 07:52

With how quickly he got his results I assumed private just from that tbh.

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 07:58

Ah I don't know if that's reason.
I mean they're not going to be realistic about timescales for that on Casualty 😂

Duffy has come back from the dead hasn't she.

Please DM me 😆

UsernameChangerRanger · 11/06/2024 08:10

Out of the remaining staff who are senior enough there are Dylan and Stevie from the doctors and Faith and the new one from the nursing team. Is it one of them?

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 08:26

It's going to be Stevie let's face it

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 08:27

I mean it could be Dylan but I'm going to guess Stevie

spiderlight · 11/06/2024 08:55

Maybe Connie will finally come back from her trip to America!

purpleme12 · 11/06/2024 08:59

I'm surprised they've moved it to BBC two this week, they normally skip a week rather than move it to BBC two

With the Euros, Wimbledon and the Olympics it won't be one week though, it will be about 10.

Wonkypictureframe · 11/06/2024 09:36

Oh, is it her off Bread?

bizzey · 11/06/2024 10:10

Didn't Stevie do the Clinical Lead for a while previously...and couldn't do it /hack it or something ? 🤔.

Or maybe it was acting CL ?

I mean I did say only read if you don’t mind spoilers 😂

Wonkypictureframe · 11/06/2024 13:05

Even the headline was a spoiler though. Not that I massively mind myself but I know some people do - thanks for deleting for their sake!
