Behind as always but just catching up with last nights and poor teddy. Hold him down 🙀🙀🙀🥲🥲🥲

spiderlight · 21/04/2024 14:54

I think there's more to come out about the therapist. Rahs must have felt like nothing when she didn't recognise him, but the dynamic with her husband was very odd.

Maybe it was Rash who was the whistleblower - they showed the flashback of him setting fire to stuff to highlight the broken smoke detector at the start, but that might have been a deliberate misdirection. They wouldn't necessarily use the whistleblower's own voice.

AnImaginaryCat · 21/04/2024 15:36

Jacob "have a go hero" Masters is annoying me. High time he remembered Elle existed.

For once I'm finally up to date !!

Whistle blower agree Jodie

Poor teddy. Hen lady is a right one. You are a man. You are stronger then me. You enjoyed it

Did we actually see Patrick give penicillin as we know lady was given an arm band by blonde preg nurse

Are we saying he didn't see it. Or it fell off so was a mistake but he won't admit it

Or Patrick doesn't think it was him ?

purpleme12 · 21/04/2024 18:19

No we didn't see Patrick give penicillin

I think Jodie was the whistleblower. Confident and young and knows it should not be like that.
Is it just me or is there even more vomit in every episode and I think it is on purpose but all the episodes are feeling chaotic and stressed. It is hard to watch without feeling anxious and I think why am I watching this on a Saturday night!

Yeah I thought that too!

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 21/04/2024 21:55

There must be something more to happen with the therapist - the whole plot line this week was too weird to not be a part of a bigger story.
I started off thinking her and Rash were going to have a relationship, then I thought it would be an abusive husband story and I wondered if she was hiding being blind.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/04/2024 22:33

Yes I forgot to
Mention rash and therapist

Surely not recognising and 'outing' was her being professional

Lookingatthesunset · 21/04/2024 22:40

I have to say, when I first met a new colleague after meeting a couple of times in team meetings on Teams, it took me a while to figure out who she was, from the other side of the room. However, there would have been at least 12 people in our meetings, not one to one. Given that she knew his name and where he worked however, it's bizarre!

Her husband seemed a PITA! It will be weird if the storyline just ends, given the build-up.

EBearhug · 21/04/2024 22:43

When I saw a therapist, she said if we met in town or somewhere, she wouldn't acknowledge me unless I did first - some people don't want others to know they're in therapy. (I never saw her in town or anywhere, but it wouldn't have bothered me.)

spiderlight · 21/04/2024 23:00

I wonder if the therapist has prosopagnosia. I'm terrible with faces, especially out of context.

Me too. I’ve had to start warning people when I meet them that there’s zero chance of me recognising them if they change their clothes / hair or the context I see them in.

purpleme12 · 21/04/2024 23:40

This crossed my mind too... But then I don't think they actually wanted us to think that. I think if they had wanted us to think that then she'd have given more of an explanation around it/a better explanation with the word and everything

Cattyisbatty · 22/04/2024 06:42

Therapist - v odd. I also thought maybe she didn’t acknowledge out of some therapist code, or was a twin! But to not recognise him at all is very strange and demeaning to Rash. He’s def not OK.
How is Jacob gonna look after the (cute) baby when he’s in long paramedic shifts - it’s not like when Ethan had Bohdi and the grandparents stepped in.
No idea re whistleblower - but I can tell you someone I know was given penicillin twice in hospital despite the allergy being all over their notes. It happens. Thankfully they didn’t go into shock.

AnImaginaryCat · 22/04/2024 08:20

I went through a list of things: Twin? Blind? Brain tumour? Hassled by irritating husband? Not recognising Rash in 3D? Face blindness?

Now thinking back, because she still didn't seem to acknowledge Rash even after he gave his full name and the time and day of appointments it was just apathetic about her clients (patients?) I reckon Rash realised that, and acknowledged he did care and was therefore a decent doctor.

I can't recall his actual words as it how she'd helped him. Does anyone else?

spiderlight · 22/04/2024 08:22

There was a flashback at the beginning where he'd phoned her to say that the breathing exercise she'd given hi had worked, but he's very obviously not ready to finish therapy.

daffodilandtulip · 22/04/2024 08:44

I thought that until the end. But I think his little speech was meant to indicate that that little episode is now over.

purpleme12 · 22/04/2024 09:06

Mmm I don't think so. I think he was put out by her not recognising him and was put off by her because it took him a lot of confidence to see her anyway

I agree.

He’s going to stop seeing her because of how her complete indifference towards him made him feel, and he’s going to go on a downwards spiral again 😢

kerstina · 22/04/2024 12:36

Yes I think you can get very attached to your therapist . I thought it was an ex love interest at first the way he looked at her . I think he does feel a bit crushed.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2024 14:53

Her dh was impatient and always trying to hurry her

NameChangeAgain0224 · 22/04/2024 15:40

Maybe the Therapist and Rash will somehow get in touch again and she’ll apologise to him for being so distracted during her A&E attendance and then she’ll confide in him that her husband makes her life a misery (emotional abuse type storyline) and before you know they start having an affair….

purpleme12 · 22/04/2024 15:48

🤣
