Agree - what is the point of her ?

I only meant the character of Lauren was a bit 'yappy ' ! Seemed a fitting description of her below moaning at people like Whit!
No idea what JJ is like in real life.
I don't remember her much in the jungle either to be honest , but she seems to photographed a lot in magazines and things with her children.

I'm not sure why they brought Lauren and penny into the show really.
I felt that L might get back with Peter at one stage , but it looks as if she'll be with Zac eventually (only going by how it's going with Whit and how she is leaving the show at some stage)
Penny is annoying and not done anything much apart from the stall. At least she has a job !

I dont like to discuss the actors in RL as its a real person, I have no issue discussing dress sense, or age of character etc as they are not real

I liked Lauren before when she was working at Wayland and had Louis , but this latest storyline with her and Whitney is tedious and not sure what her or penny bring to the show
Maybe they will grow the characters a bit more over time

I've never liked Lauren, she's always been a PITA in one way or another - I thought they killed the wrong sister, Abi was more interesting. We never see Louis but I guess if she gets together with Zack we'll start to see him so Zack will have the family he has always wanted, while Whit is away in MK/jail.

Do we know what Lauren does for a living, she doesn't have a stall does she?

Lauren isn't working but Penny is on Whit's stall
Not sure what L does for money , but like most characters she seems to be able to live it up on next to nothing income !
( maybe Peter pays her maintenance for Louis ?)

How long do you get in jail for buying a child?
She hasn't kidnapped her as such , but maybe the courts won't see it like that ?
Just how long she expects to keep this up is anyone's guess as she hasn't any paperwork and the mum can deny receiving anything too

The worst part is she's telling massive lies to Zac and tricking him into a life changing decision, ie permanently fostering Britney. I don't see how he could forgive that.

Well, today's one is interesting re the fostering malarkey! Of course Whit is going to think that Lauren told Zac or Britney.
Loads going on today , the rain must have made filming difficult at times too as it was all over the place.
I love how Jean and Jade got a prison visiting order on the same day too

Lauren’s money and purpose is indeed a mystery. I assume she lives rent free (can’t remember if the house she lives in belongs to Jack?) because I don’t know how she can otherwise afford rent on £0 income and Penny’s PT stall wages. Such a pointless character, she literally just drifts around the square following Whitney and screeching.

Eeek..Chelsea and the Pastor. Hopefully she hits him where it hurts if he tries anything and it leads to his downfall. And then he ends up in the same prison with Lucas who will properly deal with him!

I was in tears tonight when Whit was talking to Britney about self worth. There is something about Britney you really feel like you want to look after her. Very believable . Great script and acting.

I agree. Whitney's acting was so real and heartfelt. I almost thought she was going to tell Britney about her being groomed at one point!

But isn't Penny's job really Whit Whit's job? In the meantime Whit Whit seems to be loaded. Buying Britney and paying Penny enough money to cover rent for both her and screechy Lauren, along with the extra expenses of buying Britney everything from a phone to her school uniform.

I don't understand what the point of visiting Dean was. The daughter can hardly accuse someone else of setting Dean up and fight for justice as she's getting on a plane to Pakistan tomorrow. What can she do in literally hours. I really hope Jean doesn't take on the campaign instead although that is probably a way back for Shirley if she's coming back (I don't know if she is?) but I thought Dean's contract was 12 months and it was up?

Their finances really are a mystery. I think Jack gave L&P a flat, no idea if they pay rent. Lauren needs a job to distract herself from minding everyonelse's business, even after the school day ended she still didn't have invisible Louie with her. So now WhitWhit will think Lauren told Zack, and Zack will realise that Lauren knew, and we've still got the secret of the kiss to come out.

Jade's pointless visit seems another case of 'plot reasons' because she has no way of knowing if he's telling the truth about either the rape or murder. But she knows he tampered with her meds, she gave evidence against him, so she already knows he's a bad person.

There are always rumours that Shirley's returning but she's taking her time about it - she's had loads of good reasons already.

The Jade character didn’t work so I’m glad she’s gone. She was miscast as well.

I’m after reading that Zac is Britney’s real dad? Surely not. That would be OTT even for EE.

Gosh, this would be worse than the whole Cindy / Rose storyline with George !

Does Zac have links with Milton Keynes? Yes it would be a mad storyline but those are my favourite.
