I'm wondering what Collins was talking about on TikTok or podcast, tho @browneyes77 ?
If it was something unemotional I expect he is very articulate, or one of his areas of speciality.
He is just utterly out of his comfort zone with anything about relationships.

Oh god, Natalie has no business being on there this season.
Even paired with the most emotionally mature partner - supporting a complete stranger through their grief would be difficult, I don't have the first idea how you would even be able to throw starting a romantic relationship in to the mix. I can't imagine it would be the perfect recipe for a healthy relationship.

Collins is mortifying. Embarrassing to watch.

Brontë got a lot of pressure from the producers to stay. She was on a podcast (So dramatic) where she talked at length about it. It sounded horrendous.

Isn't it in their contract to stay? I think they're supposed to only leave if they both write leave and otherwise it's stay and fulfill the contract, otherwise they would be in danger of not having a show. So maybe there's some sort of financial penalty they all agree to if they go before they are supposed to?

Yeah "50/50" about kids isn't really screaming "I'll be a loving and committed father". I mean we're not talking about whether you want to get pizza or not.

I think both men and women are scared to say they don't want kids in case they come across as a) a monster; b) vastly narrow their dating options.

Also, 39 is a bit old to be "coming round to the idea"! Your friends' kids are half grown by then! He'd be 41-42 by the time the first one is even born if you take into account dating, marrying and pregnancy.

Completely agree. Plus I think the reason John was so hard on him tonight was because he feels a bit responsible, as he interviewed Collins so should have spotted that he was such a numpty inexperienced person.

Just me or do all of these men have ar least one if not several red flags, expect perhaps Johno maybe?

Yes! I thought exactly the same. She was very intense at the wedding breakfast, almost hyper, and it clearly made him feel un
comfortable. He did tell her he wanted to take it more slowly and the next minute she was crying her eyes out in the bedroom.
I started to feel like her mood swings were quite attention seeking, almost performative, whenever she didn't get her own way.

Just popping on to say DD and I think angry cousin from weddings looks like a Radford (however many kids and counting).

@tothelefttotheleft only watched first ten minutes of the clip but he is quite different. I’ve heard before that they have to do retakes etc so can feel like acting & come across fake. Sounds like Nat was having a very hard time too. Hardly surprising!

From recollection, I think it was a Yahoo Australia podcast or something similar.

I remember he was talking about how he’d been on a previous dating show and how MAFS had approached him several times and the last time the wife they’d paired him up with, had dropped out.

I just remember thinking, ‘Is this the same guy?’, because of how different he was.

Yes, that’s the clip @browneyes77 - I just googled ‘MAFS post show interview Collins’ and a YouTube link for it appeared. Only watched first ten mins. No spoilers. He’s VERY different!

Not sure whether Collins had latched onto the grief as an excuse for the whole shit show or it was really that apparent but he was right. She shouldn't have been there. It was an unfair position to put him in not to mention her. Probably similar for Timothy to be fair although he seems less emotional.

They should have let Nat leave given her grieving position. Last year on the UK one they gave someone who wrote 'stay' the opportunity to change it so I don't know why so firm this time.

Sara gives me the creeps answering for Tim.

Tori is being pig headed. She doesn't realise that Jack is well on the way to viewing her with contempt and that nobody is seeing her as a winner.

Jayden missing out the bit about him wanting the ex to watch.. wonder whether the experts would have been so forgiving of that

I do have hopes that Lucinda breaks through Tim’s barriers. He needs to acknowledge his profound grief; he might be able to open up to a relationship then. In many ways Lucinda is actually perfect for him. He’s clearly giving something that we don’t see on camera as she likes him so much.

Collins is right about needing advice.

They are "the experts" and say he is a complete beginner. But yet offer no advice at all. Bar having a go at him.

Neither should be there. He is obviously a bit off /masking or weirdly acting but that's been clear from the start. She is grieving and also quite off at times. Like virgin girl a while ago with the very ott clothes choices. Long dark hair?

On the internet, there is an image circulating of Collins in a commitment ceremony with a man. I think he’s gay and hiding it due to cultural reasons. Nat shouldn’t be on the show as she’s too vulnerable.

Tim doesn’t fancy Lucinda. He doesn’t want to touch her.

Jayden has shown that he has a vindictive side. I liked him at the start but that is such a big red flag.

I like Lauren purely because she says it like it is.
