If Gloria and Eddie were married for 60 years, how old is George supposed to be? Didn’t they try to conceive for some time before adopting/fostering him as a newborn?

I got the impression that George's parents married very young ( 16 ?)
I believe George is 60 ? (Or might be younger now sure tbh. )
I agree the timelines are a bit skewed and Eddie said once they tried for a baby for a while, but it wasn't made clear how long or if she had any medical interventions to try and find out why she couldn't conceive ( or if Eddie did )
Maybe that sort of thing wasn't really looked into back then ?

I often feel sorry for Ian Beale , then he starts speaking and it quietly fades away 😂
