The Dean storyline is a fabulous twist. Almost worth the months of the annoying 6.

I live in the US and I just can’t imagine any police dept going through an international court to get Ben brought over for a crime that only gave a 6 year sentence. Every cop I know would take one look at the amount of paperwork and be like, “Nah!”

The Ben departure was cobbled together on the back of a fag packet because they wanted the character to leave I think!
They could have written him out much better and more believable than this.

Did the Ben actor have to leave for some reason then?

it was a cracking episode - the George and Gloria scenes were so well done too.

Dunno but if he was in Ireland probably get a few hail marys and a slap on the wrist. With a feather.

A very good episode indeed. Linda - or the actress who plays her - acted her wee socks off
And I'm normally an ice-maiden, but even I found the final scene with George and his mum pretty moving
