I'm perplexed as to why Gloria and the rest of the people who are supposed to have only even known Cindy as Rose, effortlessly call her Cindy without ever slipping up.

I think the whole Rose / Cindy story was so silly they are just hoping that we might forget it ever happened! Especially the episodes set ' in France ' which was actually somewhere in the UK!

I do feel sorry for Yolande.
In fact , these kind of storylines may even put people off volunteering. It seemed so positive at first too and nice to see the community coming together. Now she'll feel pushed out and he is punishing her. Such a tool :(

Agree with pp about the pastor's 'wife' Stella. I wouldn't even be surprised if she's not really his wife and he's just paid a friend to pose as her to piss off Yolande. I doubt he's even married, as such a little creep!

I think Yolande would have been better off not handing her file over to anyone. Talk about fall from grace! Both the Pastor and Stella were so nasty to her. I think I would be reporting them to the Diocese and leaving quick smart!

It's a shame they couldn't leave the Pastor as a just a nice character who wants to do good deeds! It would have made a change and they could have written a few stories around the community centre as another place to get people together , soup kitchen or something similar, maybe a crèche for all the children that are left in the cupboards.
Instead his going to be nasty and I agree Stella probably isn't even his wife !

I'm glad Felix told Bernie to call Karen. Even if Bernie didn't the police would, surely they wouldn't leave it to Bernie to tell her? And Bernie needs her Mum and family more than she needs Barbie Sharon.

Sharon was horrible manipulating her like that and I'm glad the police arrested her.

Rather than trying to retrieve the necklace. Why didn't they try to move the body once they knew the floor would be dug up?

The pastor is a piece of work isn't he.

Maybe moving the body was just a tad too far , plus they would need transport to take him somewhere else and the cafe is now up and running ( or was!)
They buried him initially over Christmas when it was much quieter and did their second lot of concreting in the dead of night etc.
I would have thought the police would have tried to contact Karen first to be honest as his next of kin , but maybe this was different as she is abroad ? The detective knew she lived in Spain. Would they send the Spanish police to see them?

This story has ruined 3 characters, Sharon, Kathy and Suki. At least the other 3 have shown some kind of remorse/guilt (even Stacey) and can be redeemed. Those 3 are coming across as just plain cold, Kathy encouraging Sharon to go round to Bernie was cold and horrible.

Sharon wailing "but I loved him" was laughable. Has she ever loved anyone? She doesn't love Phil that's obvious she just didn't want Kat to have him.

Agree the Pastor is nasty but then he's been found out so he's going to turn on Yolande. I hope she speaks up and starts her own food truck.

Kathy is smarting as she had to give up Rocky to the police , so she probably feels she's done her bit ( plus she didn't kill Ken etc)
Although Rocky still might dob them in from his prison cell I suppose .. he did know something was up back on Boxing Day
They are all suspicious of each other now !
Especially now Sharon is going to be questioned again etc.

I've just worked out what Denzel calls Yolande, I thought he was calling her Auntie O, but it's Auntie Yo isn't it🤦‍♀️.
