Oh no, those Japanese mochi ball things are the most disgusting texture imaginable. Someone on Mumsnet described them as like eating a scrotum, and that person was speaking the truth.

Sorry, just catching up. I'm team Kirk - the trick of a good vegetarian/vegan dish is not missing the meat. I'm a meat eater but DH and DD are vegetarian. Would definitely like to try Kirk's restaurant when it opens.

Fish eye crisps and tripe I can live without though.

The croquembouche we always see in the intro looks a bit messy. Wonder if it's Ryan who has the mare and gets a 4?

I find most vegan alternative food really disappointing so Kirk is really intriguing me.
