DeeDee actress is quite religious in real life so I wonder if she's requested certain things in her on screen character. She has always hinted at being a church goer (as PP said, she took Paul) and I remember her talking about her faith to Alliyah.

As for Lauren's mystery man, we're assuming it someone we know but maybe it's just another random. (Not seen Brian for a while!)

Just speculation, but some are saying on X that it could be Nathan from Bethany's past that Lauren is involved with.

@JellyBeanFactory I would have to stop watching if it was Brian. That would literally turn me completely off.

Joel is married I am sure I heard him talking to his wife although I think I zone out at times and make my own storylines up. I cannot think who it is with Lauren but either going with a very strong woman or a bloke that has form for violence. In saying that could it be Spider? Is he due to make a comeback?

I’m interested to know how they work out the actors schedules and pay. It seems that some of them are off screen for ages at a time. For example Eileen has been off screen for quite a while and also Aggie. 🤔

I guess, like any employer, the producers can give leave/secondment as they see fit. It happens with pregnancy, illness, family matters just like any larger business. We just notice it as sometimes, if not foreseen, their characters just disappear!
