The more I think about it the more disappointed I am that Mollie will be in with a shot at the money.

She is only in the final because she’s sat on the coattails of other people who have put themselves at risk by sharing their opinions. Even Evie has been more proactive and engaged than mollie.

She may be nice and kind (but the tee hee hee hee giggle fest with Evie last night tipped me over the edge) but can you imagine if we had a whole cast of Mollie’s on there?

She’s been a passenger in the programme imho, if she wins anything then it undermines the whole exercise.

I know many won’t agree with me.

I think a lot of people will agree that a key flaw in the game as entertainment is that this happens. The way to avoid being murdered or banished is to be extremely dull and inoffensive. They do sometimes pick up on quieter people but flying under the radar, while giving a Traitor your full support, is the best survival strategy - although it'll cost you the money if you don't wake up at the end.

ChoccyJules · 26/01/2024 09:13

In the middle of the night I worked out a theory which made the Faithful win but now I can’t remember it so I guess Harry will be victorious after all 😉

Jaz needs to step up and go for it in his conversations today, I do know that.

florentina1 · 26/01/2024 09:14

My prediction for the final. Jaz will work on Evie and Andrew to vote out harry.
Harry and Mollie will vote to banish Andrew . So Harry will be banished.
When they go to the cauldron to vote END GAME or BANISH AGAIN, they will all vote BANISH AGAIN. Goodbye Andrew.

Faithfuk share the money.

FiveFoxes · 26/01/2024 09:14

It was mentioned briefly on here during the episode, but did anyone else wonder why Harry didn't know how many were in his family? He said "There are 11 or 12 of us". Confused

florentina1 · 26/01/2024 09:15

Faithful not faithfuk

florentina1 · 26/01/2024 09:17

I think he is one of six, so 11 or 12 includes partners.

shearwater2 · 26/01/2024 09:18

You lose count after ten.

I hope so because Jaz really does deserve it the most. I think he's played a much better game than Harry, considering he's at the enormous disadvantage of being a Faithful. He's taken the emotion out of it - even Harry lovers can't claim Harry's done that, with all his gleeful self-congratulation - and used hard logic. His deductions have been brilliant.

If Jaz doesn't win then I want Harry out and Andrew to win alone. But I think we are looking at a Harry victory, sadly.

Apols I have read back through most pages - did anyone else think the cloaked people were meant to be ex contestants? That they would be revealed? I wonder if that was ever the plan but they went home?!

I don't think they could do that this year because of the way they're revealing who the traitors are to the murdered/banished after they leave. They'd know too much to come back into the game in any kind of capacity where they were revealed.

He only has ten fingers.

Did anyone else think Harry looked genuinely besotted and a bit anguished when Molly was talking at dinner about her disability and the challenges she's faced? I could almost see him giving half the money to Molly if he wins.

You could see him thinking "shit, I really want this money but this girl is amazing and it would do much worthier stuff with the cash than I would".

Or was he just a bit pissed and thinking "you're pretty"?

Samcro · 26/01/2024 09:40

letsbepositive2024 · 25/01/2024 21:39

Oh yeah

i never thought of that. Evie knows she isn't a traitor. so hope she realises.

FiveFoxes · 26/01/2024 09:43

The weakness of the Traitors is that Harry doesn't want to share. Andrew possibly would share, but knows not to trust Harry to share. Therefore they have to each try to get rid of the other one.

Jaz has to get Evie and Andrew onside to banish Harry, then Molly and Evie to get rid of Andrew. Good luck to Jaz as it will be a very tricky task.

Currently no one suspects Molly or Jaz, so in theory the votes will continue until it's just them. I am not sure that will actually happen in practice.

I am 100% team Faithful!

FiveFoxes · 26/01/2024 09:45

Regarding the swords, Harry was peering at them all before choosing while the others just walked up and took one. So I think Harry 'cheated'.

MaggieFS · 26/01/2024 09:46

shearwater2 · 26/01/2024 08:50

Mollie has played a great game by going under the radar, is the youngest player, gets on with everything without griping, has a limb disability and a long term health condition and no colon - has a stoma bag. I think she has done pretty well.

She has, and I wouldn't begrudge her a win. But if I had rank the remaining faithfuls in terms of who has contributed most to the three of them getting to the final it would Jaz, Evie then Mollie. So I would prefer Jaz to win.

It's the second one.

Dotellhimpike · 26/01/2024 09:48

Mollie has been a great contestant, if she were as dull as some people claim then she'd barely get a mention on these threads. Her and Harry's dynamic has provided loads of thread fodder.

I did initially, but then he had the same face when Andrew was telling his story afterwards which was really odd!

shearwater2 · 26/01/2024 09:50

I would have had a good look at the swords before picking them too if you were allowed. Seems sensible to me.

shearwater2 · 26/01/2024 09:53

Being in my late 40s, apart from Andrew all the remaining contestants seem like cute kids to me and I feel a bit motherly and protective towards them. And I don't mind who wins.

Well maybe he fancies Andrew too. He'll still sling him under a Routemaster.

My greatest hope for tonight is that, whatever the outcome, it isn't a damp squib of an ending. If anyone plays a blinder, I'm here for it.

I hope that person is Jaz, unleashing the promised tiger and getting a win for the faithfuls, because he really has played the game as well as it's possible for a faithful to play it. His withdrawal and faux Harry worship has been masterfully done. He had me fooled Confused
