I feel like Fred is just very stressed at how he's being dismissed and is venting by exercising more because he can't just walk away and go home to his safe place

That's why Nella and Josie have been pushing his buttons to get a reaction

Have finally caught up reading the threads!

It’s been a weird series for me. I’ve changed my mind on so many camp mates since the beginning.
The ones I thought would be interesting have either left or proved me wrong!
Currently I’m liking the quieter personalities, Nick and Tony (never knew who they were before this)
I think Josie and Danielle will find their place now with Nella gone. Love her or hate her, she was a big personality to contend with.

I mean imagine you're a chef and someone is stubbornly digging their heels in who can't really cook properly and not letting you offer your advice about making the most of what limited food you have to feed the camp and make it taste as best you can and to last longer

It's just bizarre how she's being (sociopath comes to mind)

She just thinks it's hilarious winding him up

He's being monumentally controlled all things considered

I disagree completely, I think he is full of his own self importance (the leaping to do super fast push ups, the completely ignoring the ‘rules’ and anyone else who might want to do a trial yesterday, the moaning about the washing up) I started off liking him but he makes my skin crawl the more we see him. I also don’t think he would behave like that if Tony was taking the lead in the cooking. He’s an alpha male and Josie is an easy victim. I’d have told him before now that he either fucks off out of my face or shuts up. If he doesn’t, no one is getting any food and it’s his fault.

I think Josie is being patience personified with Fred and the other camp mates seem to think she is managing him well. Josie herself has said it is a hard balance as she does welcome and need his advice sometimes and I presume they aren't showing those bits . If he wasn't so bossy she might ask him more. It's hard to step back but you just have to if someone else has that job. I often have to make myself just walk away from my husband cooking as he has a different style but it usually comes out OK in the end.

I didn’t know half of them before, hope Sam does well but hope Danielle or Jose go next I think Fred is frustrated watching her make a mess of the limited food he’s French they take cooking seriously.
Shes not all smiles and sunshine there’s game playing there with Jose
Nella seemed genuinely surprised to be voted out that’s what comes with living in a bubble she didn’t realise we could see her attitude towards others and Danielle looked shocked too as she was agreeing with her.
Time for Marvin to step up and do a trial but will he? Or just coast along under the radar which seems to be his plan,

Yes I've gone off him too. Don't dislike him as such but Josie started to show her true colours and then he lowered himself too.

It's like some kind of race to the bottom in likability right now.

But I'm glad we get 2 weeks before we start to lose people because it takes quite a while for some peoples mask to slip!

Nick and Fred are bottom two on Oddschecker. Because there are a few ones that people don't like so much, more will vote for Nick as he is nice and just gets on with it so hopefully it will keep him in a bit longer. I'm voting for Nick at the moment and then I will vote for Nigel if he is still in and Nick goes out.

I've gone right off Josie. Nasty Nella only made her chef to get at Fred. She's gone now J so you can stop trying to make vile, useless patties. Let the real chef cook again. Danielle meanwhile is like the mean girl in school who tells her mates what the other party said, agrees with them and then reports back to the other party and agrees with them. We see what you're doing Danielle. I think Nella was shocked that we'd seen it all and probably thought she was coming across as 'just a girl*. No love, you're a woman. Only truly genuine people in there are Tony, Marvin and Nick. Fred and Nigel behind them.

I am mostly with Fred in the food.

It just seems when he was chef, food was good and available on time

Now, it's 2 hour waits for things (like lunch) and no option to do anything but sit and wait for it. And then it's bean fritter slop!

I think the worse thing about the jungle seems to be having nothing to do, hence lots of sunbathing or sitting watching the chef. If they had more to do the cooking situation would be less of an issue.

Doesn't like people cooking badly or food wasted.
Is a perfectionist and wants things done well

Which are mostly good things, if annoying to live with. But as a boss /restauranteur all good.

I think Nella hinted though at something I thought was true though that each time a new camp leader is elected jobs are reshared out and you can’t have one you have had before. Simply so everyone gets the jobs that aren’t popular. It certainly has been in previous years abd I am certain Nella said so last night, the pettiness was putting them on washing up.

also fairly sure Fred right at the start took ages to make a meal that a couple had r fallen asleep - and he is front of hiuse has been for years

I couldn't think of anything worst than being absolutely Starving and Josie messing about the way she was doing, instead of cooking the rice and beans which everyone could eat there and then they had to wait at least two hours whilst she done it all together it doesn't make sense. So yes I do feel for Fred Nella started all this out of spite and they are just trying to get at Fred still.

It's quite sad it's turning into a race row, if Nella had not done what she done to Fred then had a go at Nigel things would not have been anywhere as bad for her and then obviously she went onto be spiteful that's why she's facing lots of backlash.
