..And Brian and Jenny come to that.

I think Roy is being unfair and using the baby situation to get his own way re the house. I love Jenny getting tough with Brian - excellent.

I have just managed to miss yesterday's though so maybe they're all friends again? Someone fill me in pleeeease

Roy is an arse. I haven't listened for about a week but I know that much.

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:22

isn't the baby here? don't listen much during week (do omnibus instead) but get the plotlines from archers website in email...

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:23

Tom tried to talk Roy into not being an arse (i.e. into making Brenda feel welcome to visit new baby Abbey). Roy still attached to being an arse. Jenny and Brian still simmering inconclusively.

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:23

roy: arse
brenda: selfish arse

claricebeansmum · 11/03/2008 14:25

I think Tom made an error of judgement trying to reason with Roy two days after his baby has been born prematurely etc and I can sort of see why he wanted to get it all sorted about the house but he is being really unfair to his sister.

Loving Jenny at the moment....and love hearing Brian floundering. Would not be surprised if he has a heart attack to they all have to come to his aid etc

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:26

claricebeansmum, he'd have to have the heart attack before he changes his will

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:26

He used to have epilepsy, but he seems to have grown out of it, which is a bit bewildering.

sophiewd · 11/03/2008 14:26

I love Jenny getting tough, my mother has sided with Brian, until I quite happily pointed out that she will be in exactly the same position when she goes (she has 5 step children) with regards to Roy I think that given the situation he doesn't need Brendas boyfriend telling him that he is being mean to Brenda.

TsarChasm · 11/03/2008 14:27

Thanks! All summed up very well there!

Hmm Bundle an Archers Email update eh??

Better than a snog in the shower -- my all-time most toe-curling Archers moment (Sid and Jolleen, with much sucking)

clumsymum · 11/03/2008 14:30

Threadworm

He suffered epilepsy for a few years following a head injury, caused by a mad cow.

Post trauma epilepsy can receed, over time.

I think Brian is being an arse atm. He should drop the plan, make other provision for rairy (never can spell it), and try again in a few years (if he lives that long)

clumsymum · 11/03/2008 14:31

Oh and Roy has never shown much good sense has he? Marrying Hayley is about the only good decision he's made.

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:32

ruyaoriah, i think

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:32

Ah, thank you. I remember him being kicked by the cow. Then it all went quiet.

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:32

He's getting kicked by another cow now!

claricebeansmum · 11/03/2008 14:33

What went quiet?

The cow or Brian?

Perhaps the cow could revenge again?

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:33

brine never goes quiet, must've been the cow

Ooh thanks for the link bundle

God I'd forgotten about Sid and Jolene in the shower. Right on tea time that was too.

And Hayley is Jasper Carrot's daughter.

claricebeansmum · 11/03/2008 14:34

I think Pip is due to go off the rails

OrmIrian · 11/03/2008 14:35

I thought that Hayley was the girl in the Office (whose name escapes me).
