..And Brian and Jenny come to that.

I think Roy is being unfair and using the baby situation to get his own way re the house. I love Jenny getting tough with Brian - excellent.

I have just managed to miss yesterday's though so maybe they're all friends again? Someone fill me in pleeeease

That too.

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:36

Roy is an oaf. John should have stayed off that Fergie & then Hayley could have married him instead

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:37

Hayley is a different actress now.

bundle, REALLY??? blimey these gealic names are amazing, I have always struggled with Siobahn, not to mention Naimh, but Ruyaoriah (had to copy & paste)

TsarChasm · 11/03/2008 14:38

Ah now you're going back a bit there a bit for me. Was John the one squashed by a tractor?

OP posts:
bundle · 11/03/2008 14:38

I am currently enjoying Bert

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:39

Ruairi is the way the mad slapper chose to spell it (and Jenny enunciates every vowel )

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:39

sorry taking liberties there...

it's

Ruairi

bossykate · 11/03/2008 14:39

"I think Roy is being unfair and using the baby situation to get his own way re the house. I love Jenny getting tough with Brian - excellent."

couldn't have put it better myself

roy is being very selfish and nasty and brenda has no reason at all to feel guilty.

stealthsquiggle · 11/03/2008 14:40

yes - John - Tom's big brother - was indeed squished by tractor.

Heading off now to read Brian-and-his-will synopsis to save anyone the bother of explaining it to me!

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:40

Yes, you don't cause a premature birth by very slightly raising your voice.

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:42

Mike has been wonderful - that bit at the end of the epi when Roy drove off (in an artic by the sound of the engine ) leaving him at the door, he said something like "oh dear" with such a catch in his voice.

I am hearting Mike atm, he is trying so hard to do right and be fair, bless him

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:43

can't believe I'm saying this, but I find myself on Roy's side

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:43

Mike is lovely.

OrmIrian · 11/03/2008 14:43

Tend to agree about Mike, wendy.

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:44

really, bundle? Everything he says is grating on me!

bossykate · 11/03/2008 14:45

mike is being wonderful, yes.

Kewcumber · 11/03/2008 14:45

how premature/big is the baby - I missed the actual birth?

I think Brian is not unreasonable to include Ruuerrii in his will but he should be treated the same as the other "non-farming" offspring. If Reeeorryy shows some substantial interest in the farm whilst BRian is still alive then he can change his will then. I feel like writing to Brian about this

clumsymum · 11/03/2008 14:46

Bundle, When you say you are "currently ENJOYING Bert " erm

Threadworm · 11/03/2008 14:46

Roy is essentially really nice, but every now and again the writers bolt some horrible sentiment onto him at random -- like the rascism thing.

bundle · 11/03/2008 14:46

yes ww

maybe it's because I want to support Hayley (repeat: it's Just a Story..)

WendyWeber · 11/03/2008 14:48

Ah, the degree of prematurity is a moot point, Kewc - the scriptwriters appear not to know how to calculate.

According to the script, 10 weeks early, but according to nature (cos we all know when she was conceived) 8 weeks.
