Actually I like this programme. Coming from someone like Delia I think it is good. We can be such food ponces at times, and it goes to show that sometimes cheating is allowed, it is okay to do if you want.
And better to do that than just resort to a ready meal surely?
I don't think is aimed at the avid cook. But then Delia never has been really - she is a real, at home cook - doing practical every day things. And if this encourages some more people just to give it a try then why not. After a while they might even try giving the real thing a go too.
Have to say myself though - I know over some things at the moment I can't quite bring myself to buy it - frozen mash for example. But that doesn't mean it is rong for people to do so does it?
