Not a popular opinion here, but I loved Maisie and HRVY - both were very entertaining dancers and seemed like sweet people as well. I still rewatch some of their routines. I also loved Saffron, but know I'm in the minority on that one, too. :)

Couldn't agree more. BBC were determined Ore Oduba would win. They even flew over Gene Kelly's widow to be in the audience for Singin' in the Rain routine and praise his dancing. Yes, I'm still bitter!

I liked Saffron.

And HRVY and his Nanna Joy (?).

I think they should all do a ‘formation’ dance, exactly the same moves etc.

Couldn't stand Ore and his flipping tears over everything.
Danny was brilliant.

That jive was brilliant, though.

Oh yay! Saffron and AJ's New York New York routine was outstanding.

I still feel sorry for Gio and a bit irritated with Amanda. I know I shouldn't dwell on that.

I think I'm one of the few people who wasn't impressed by Ore's jive. There was something off about it for me.

I too liked Maisie Smith, and NVWLS grew on me over the course of that season.

This year I'm cheering for Ellie mostly. She's fantastic, such a joy to watch.

Surely most of the actors did some dance training as kids? I feel sure most do some at drama school. Surely Zara would be the sort of kid to do dance as a kid? Annabel looks like she did ballet.

There's never been a Sleepy Hollow themed dance has there? I'd like that for Halloween next year.

I liked Maisie and quite liked HRVY, once I got past my irritation at his name.

Oti should have been a three time winner; she was robbed with Danny Mac. Of course their samba was great, but I think their American Smooth was also underrated.

Like a PP, their American Smooth is my favourite-ever Strictly dance. I swoon over it.

Also adore their VW and jive. And I'll always be sad we didn't get to see their first dance again in the final. That chachacha was brilliant and I'd have loved to see it perfected.

I hope Krishnan does a lovely VW. Brendan and Lisa's VW to the same song is one of my all time favourite dances, and her dress was beautiful.

Ooh, I wonder if it could be based on Christopher Walken and morph into his dancing from Fat Boy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice”?

Danny and Oti's American smooth to Misty Blue is probably the dance I replay most... and still gasp at the ending.

I liked Maisie too, loved her dancing, but remember she wasn't overly popular on here and can understand why; the whole showbizzy background, lookalike mum and sister turning up all the time, etc. I saw her in the stage version of Strictly Ballroom this year alongside KFG and she was very good in that.
