Surely Zara will go next week? Or will next week start the surprises?
Not that we'll be able to see the dancing through the schtoopid costumes and CG scary monsters and flashing lights mind. I've loved the last two weeks with the simplicity of the dancefloor.

I'm gutted for Karen, obviously we don't know what's gone on but they only got married a year(ish) ago. I almost wonder if staying in the competition would be better for her, a kind of distraction. Hope her strictly family are looking after her, break ups are shite.

Anyways, can't see Zara lasting much longer....your time is borrowed...

@LadyHester you articulated far better than I did what I was trying to say about Eddie.

Karen will still be in the show. I hope Zara continues to improve after this result.

But the Strictly family only really gets together at weekends for Showtime. The rest of the week is Karen and Eddie in a room practicing. Now that she is out she can spend time with friends, moping or go away for a few days. Whatever she needs to do. And next Saturday she can just relax with the pros rather than have to perform. I think being out of the competition is better for her.

Pah. Eddie was so much better than Zara. He had personality, hips and musicality. He just couldn;t seem to put it together. But still better than Zara's series of lifts.

According to the DM, Dianne has now revealed that she was upset last weekend as her Dad in Australia is unwell. She is going to go there at Christmas - her family we're going to spend Christmas in the UK but can't now.

Bottom two for Zara every week until she goes, I reckon. How much better it must be to be in the DO once and go, rather than hanging by a thread and knowing it won't be long before that red light's on you yet again.

Wow I can't believe they played that song for their last dance - how insensitive!

But she gets more money, apparently. For hanging on. Next week maybe Graz will just do an entire routine of faffing about with props: guitars, roses, pumpkins. He is good at that.

Aw, sad to see Eddie go, he’s a wonderful joyful dancer. Zara will probably go next week or the week after.

And I don’t want to hear HOW HARD WE’RE ALL WORKING, change the fucking record, we KNOW how hard you all work and that’s still no reason to vote for you, everyone works hard, you have to or you’ll be out! Sheesh.

Was shocked by tonight's result, I thought the vote may be split but for Eddie and Karen to get no votes?!

Easy Mavis - providing I wasn't having to work as well, I would work really hard at Strictly. I'd love to do it. I think I've more in common with Zara (not a natural and bit wooden - certainly not tall, slim and naturally elegant) than the likes of Ellie who I think is great.

Wrong decision but Eddie wouldn’t have got much further, he had ability but didn’t seem to want to learn to channel it. Meanwhile, Zara is not going to get any better.

I was sorry to see Eddie go and wish now I'd thrown him a vote, but despite his natural rhythm, enthusiasm and musicality - and being partnered with Karen - I didn't think his dancing was up to much this week.

Ouch! I'm sure they just didn't think it through.

On Zara being lifted, she doesn't choreograph the routine. Maybe she'll get better this week :)

I'm sorry to see Eddie go but it was probably going to be this week or next for both him and Zara - unless someone is the victim of hideous Halloween theming /styling.

Karen is very good friends with Janette. She can maybe hang out and cuddle the baby.

I get really annoyed when the choreo critique isn't directed at the pro/choreographer...the celeb has not say over what content goes in to the dance!

I always assumed that the couple choose their exit song in advance.
