JL is in The Resident now. DHP I havent seen fora couple of years. I imagine hes quite picky with what he does. Ot is a shame though. I wonder if they had any more children?

I haven't signed up to this streaming yet but am going to do so just for Frasier. From the reviews I have read it starts off a bit rickety but finds it's feet - I'm really hoping it won't be a disappointment.

I've been steeping myself in old Frasier episodes lately - I'm fairly certain this won't live up to the absolute classics, but will at least be a good time.

It’s an odd one, basically you can access it through apple but can add a paramount plus subscription to your Apple TV.

So can you watch it if you have a Paramount+ subscription with Amazon Prime?

paranoidnamechanger · 24/10/2023 17:07

You can, yes. For the extra charge of £6.99 a month.

I’ve watched the first few episodes and I’m struggling with it tbh, not many laughs, and the Nicholas Lyndhurst character doesn’t really add anything.

Let us behold the META of Blackpool born John Mahoney attempting a parody of Daphne's Manchester accent but from the origin of a west coast beat cop

Martin Crane impersonating Daphne Moon - Frasier

Rest in Peace, John. 1940-2018Martin Crane (portrayed by John Mahoney) thinks that Daphne Moon (portrayed by Jane Leeves) is whiny about new things and never...

That is weird to watch! But to be fair to Marty, Daphne’s Manchester accent used to have a good old wander round the country, sometimes via Birmingham.

EachandEveryone · 19/11/2023 18:59

Im enjoying it more now that Ive got to the fourth episode.

KimberleyClark · 22/11/2023 10:58

I actually loved it. Wasn’t expecting to from what I heard. I think Nicholas Lyndhurst is great and could imagine really opening up to him if I was his patient! Sad that lovely Rene Auberjonois, who played Frasier’s old Harvard prof in a couple of episodes (and got off with Roz in one of them) , is no longer with us, would have been nice to see him again too.

CitizenofGotham · 22/11/2023 20:27

I didn't have high hopes but have watched the first four and am really enjoying it! I really like Freddie and love how David takes after Niles. Can't wait for the return of Roz, she was always my favourite.

JustOneMoreBaileys · 20/12/2023 14:29

I've now watched it. I did have my doubts somewhere around the mid-season but loved the final episode and founds myself chuckling quite a bit, so I hope there's another season. I think the characters are just starting to bed in.

I just wish both the main women had a bit more character - they are both a little bland, especially considering Roz and Daphne had a bit more about them 20+ years ago.

MeandBobbyMcGoo · 24/12/2023 07:02

I am on about episode 4 and really enjoying it. The characters are starting to slot in very well and KG is an absolute pro. It's more silly than Frasier 1 but with the clever jokes thrown in, I am loving it. I hope it does well, it's fun.

LinesmanMinnelli · 24/12/2023 07:07

It really improved as it went on and I thought it was great. Hope there's another series!

EachandEveryone · 26/12/2023 22:55

I enjoyed it alot. I found Roz to be quite nervous or was it that she couldn’t move her face so well? I do t think she’s acted since Frasier, has she? I hope it gets a second season as well.

I just watched the whole series and agree that it definitely hits its stride: I had no high hopes at all but laughed out loud a few times. I loved the Lilith episode too.
