Is anybody else watching Celebrity SAS who dares wins ? I like Arge .I don’t think he is trying to be a clown ,he is just nervous. Couldn’t help but laugh at Matt Hancocks fall !

Matt Hancock is not coming across well at all and I think it's cos he's a prat but also because he thought he would be much better than what he actually is and he can't cope with it. He came across much better in I'm A Celeb.

ceecee32 · 27/09/2023 11:50

Thought it was funny when the DS called him Mr Hancock with a silent Han😁

He comes across like a narcissist from the off. Foxy and Co will hopefully kick the cockiness out of him for a bit. Smug little shit that he is.

noodlezoodle · 27/09/2023 23:34

I was absolutely howling. Took this screenshot just after they pushed Matt Hancock in the water.

Also I didn't see it live but apparently the Ch4 announcer introduced the show by saying "16 recruits in an inhospitable landscape next tonight though, as the country’s favourite stars and Matt Hancock all take part in SAS: Who Dares Wins." Grin

noodlezoodle · 27/09/2023 23:35

Bloody picture didn't post!

SAS who dares wins .
Crinkle77 · 28/09/2023 11:04

So glad that Billy is now Chief DS rather than that awful Rudy.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 28/09/2023 13:21

Foxy is worth his weight in gold for his facial expressions and sayings (as much use as tits on a snake is a favourite)

I'm also glad Billy is chief DS. I'm not terribly keen on Chris either. I didn't warm to him last season at all. I do miss Remi. He was probably too nice!

Lottapianos · 28/09/2023 13:25

'I do miss Remi'

Me too! He was seriously tough but very fair with them. He often gave them a pep talk about being proud of themselves and holding their heads high when they walked away

I like Rudy too, he does the pep talks as well

Foxy is my favourite for 😍 reasons

RainbowZebraWarrior · 28/09/2023 13:38

I've just watched it back while I had my lunch. I kind of take back what I said about not liking Chris. When he corrects Hancock about his 'I Fell in Love' Health Secretary downfall trope and puts it in layman's terms: "Aye, you thought Fuck this, I'll have a bit of that" he's spot on.

Crinkle77 · 28/09/2023 16:00

I used to like him but he's lost his looks a bit for me. Not my usual type but Billy has deffo got something about him.

Can't say I miss Remi. However, as much as I hate to admit it I do miss Ant I have to say.

Lottapianos · 28/09/2023 16:22

'Not my usual type but Billy has deffo got something about him'

He's too frightening for me 😁

Allthecatseverywhereallatonce · 28/09/2023 17:12

So excited to watch this, can't wait to see Hancock get his comeuppance. I miss Ant too I liked his straight talking.

Lottapianos · 28/09/2023 18:49

'can't wait to see Hancock get his comeuppance.'

You're in for such a treat! I cried laughing a couple of times, and we've only had episode one 😁

kerstina · 28/09/2023 19:32

Yes it was hilarious! Felt should I be laughing at them but couldn’t help it ! I hadn’t noticed the introduction but yes spot on. I don’t know why but I can’t take to Gareth Gates at the moment but perhaps that will change.

Felt sorry for Arg on the fighting task. They had to punch the crap out of their opponent and they put him with a woman. You could tell he was afraid to hit her in case he hurt her.

I would have liked to have seen Jon in that task. He obviously had a disadvantage having one arm and I wondered if they'd make his opponent fight with one arm too?

I hope they knock the smugness out of Hancock. He thinks he's such a he-man and he's failing miserably at the moment.

Wolfcub · 28/09/2023 21:29

I also love Foxy for #reasons. I love him even more after the start of this episode. Would like to let him at several more politicians

onestepfromgrace · 28/09/2023 21:37

I loved how they didn’t give Hancock an inch during the ‘chat’ he was giving them the whole big man speech and they just pulled him up about not following his own laws, guidance and setting a poor example. Showed him up for the cock that he is.

rockingbird · 28/09/2023 22:05

I absolutely love billy, fox has lost his way a bit for me. It's going to be an interesting series

Lottapianos · 28/09/2023 22:29

It was brilliant. He was trying to butch it out and they were having none of it. Foxy REALLY enjoyed that shoving in the lake moment 😁

thenightsky · 29/09/2023 14:03

Was Arg on SAS previously?

Not that I know of. I think he will be first out. Closely followed by Michelle Heaton. Speaking of whom, I saw when she was crying, Teddy Soares was the first person to comfort her. I always thought he came across as a lovely bloke.

Jibo · 10/10/2023 20:51

I am loving this series! Great mix of celebs. Wasn't sure it would work without Ant but I'm not really missing him. Foxy and Billy are doing great.

VQ1970 · 11/10/2023 15:18

I was gutted that Gareth had to leave. He really threw himself into that game of murder ball, which I expected with him being a rugby player, but it didn't do him any good in the long run.

Really impressed with Danielle and Amber, they seem to have a bit of mettle in them.

I'm having first dibs on Foxy & Billy!

Unicorn2022 · 16/10/2023 08:50

Great series so far but I can't believe Michelle Heaton was given the all clear to take part. She is incredibly fragile, has had breast surgery and alcohol addition and depression problems. She should not be on reality TV at all.

I didn't realise this was filmed over a year ago, as I saw Melinda is now engaged to one of the experts, Dr Raj.

RainbowZebraWarrior · 16/10/2023 11:07

I'm also shocked that Michelle H was given the go ahead. She looks like a shell. I guess the thinking was probably (naively) that it might have been a good 'confidence boost' from a rehabilitation point of view. With th4 knowledge that she could be withdrawn as and when necessary. Which she was, with no explanation really required.

I'm impressed with Gareth Gates.
